scammers central every single reply i have had whilst selling a laptop on gumtree ,has been a pathetic scammer ,i report them.....nothing is done EVER!!!!gumtree is as useless as ever,you can't block the scammers,i have never ever sold anything on gumtree ,the only advantage is gumtree attracts the dumbest scammers around,only reason i haven't closed my account is im old an i get bored so playing mind games with scammers pass my idle time,doesn't present much of a challenge though as these so called scammers use the exact same message every single time,i would give gumtree minus stars but i can't if i could it would be 10- stars

The worst place to sell things When I sold my Elgato Video Capture to somebody on Monday 13th February 2023 I got scammed $357.50 from PSP*JustC/prodamus.io London GBR EUR 223.71 so I had to get the disputes team to contact the merchant to get my funds back for me. I would definitely recommend using eBay or Facebook Marketplace.

Wasted hours trying to list an item and… Wasted hours trying to list an item and ad never appeared. Tried over several weeks to no avail. Now I've read other reviews re scammers etc. I'm glad I didn't pursue it further!

Phishing scam emails - Gumtree does not nothing Phishing scam emails are sent through their own system. They do not respond to any emails ( supposedly within 24 h) - Im still waiting 4 days later. Not alone - see others with same complaint below. These individuals should be removed immediately but gumtree does nothing. Advertise with this site at our own risk

I can not see the local ads,im not interested in interstate ads,because no one wants COD sale,I'm not going to pay upfront,therefore i only buy/sell locally..Fix the filter section gumtree.
