Although I understand the upsell approach I simply needed help with my problem and the next bid focused solely on that and I hired them instead

GBFrom the person who answers the phone … From the person who answers the phone to those who come out and do the work, everyone is super nice. I had them come out to add a water and gas line for new appliances. They were clean, courteous and did a great job. The reason I gave them 3 stars was based mostly on pricing. I spent $1,700 to have them run those 2 lines, then when I called them a couple of days later to come help with an emergency under my sink (not a result of anything they did), I called them at 4pm and they said I'd be charge after hours pricing. This would be $169 for just coming out...then additional from there. When I paid them $1,700 just days prior and called at 4pm. I declined and hired a self employed plumber.

GBGreat service Great service, the guy who showed up was honest, straight forward, and helpful, plus did a good job. Only disappointment was they were not able to give me any ball park cost info up front on what I could expect. I know that's hard to do and risky because customers may not describe the full scope of work and it's hard to ball park something over the phone. But the tech was good at listing what they would do and options I had to choose from. But the total did end up higher than I was expecting going in. Shows that it's been several years since I hired a plumber!!

GBExcellent workmanship Excellent workmanship at the quoted price despite running into a couple of issues once they got into the three different jobs. Only negative was that the job they were working before they got to us ended up taking longer and they had to reschedule our job to the next day. Jim, our plumber, provided great feedback and explained everything clearly.

GBMight want to try somewhere else... Wanted to know if I had the instruction manual to help him figure out what was wrong with the water softener -he figured it out by calling tech support. Did not wear shoe covers. Seemed pretty sure he could not fix tub faucets - and indeed he could not. Told me that the new water pressure modulator he installed would only last about 5 years.
