A failing grade in elementary customer service They are responsive right up until the moment your items are loaded on the truck and then you cannot reach them or the company they contracted out your move to. After dozens of unanswered phone calls, we don't even so much as have a tentative arrival date for our things. I hate leaving negative reviews but moving is stressful enough and people should be aware that this company and their affiliates will add to that stress. Don't buy the "military friendly" bit either.

This is NOT a moving company (BROKER)… This is NOT a moving company (BROKER) which sell you off to another ripe off company. They are ripe off con-artists. They will lie to get your money and sell you off to another company which will hold your belongings and extort you for more money before you get your belongings. They need a class action lawsuit to put them out of business and/or have law enforcement get involve.

WARNING! Don't Use Landmark Landmark has a high pressure sales force. They quickly promise anything then insist on a cash deposit. That should have been a red flag. They give a cancellation period for a full deposit return BUT refuse to take you phone call during that cancellation period thus I lost my $1200 deposit. The BBB could not help get my deposit refunded. I should have checked BBB first as Landmark has an F rating with several complaints and a 2 star rating with yelp with several complaints. They are thieves.

Horrible customer service Horrible customer service. My experience was similar to all other poor reviews. I was given a completely ridiculous estimate to which I knew was not going to be anywhere near accurate. Turned out to be double the original estimate. They make you think this is some well run family company and they are the company in charge. Well they are just brokers. After showing up 4 hours late for pickup, I was asked when I would like my items delivered, I gave them a date and now that date has come and gone. After calling landmark as well as the actual company doing the move SNY relocation and getting the run around, they are refusing to let me speak to anyone with any authority. They have no clue when the items will be delivered. This is how you run your business? Wow. Do your self a favor use a different company.

Dishonest Scammers Landmark offered me a move for $4,800 (based on extensive pictures of my home), so I went with them. When the moving truck arrived, they proceeded to upcharge me for a total of $8,000! When I called their office, nobody would pick up, until about two hours later. A woman named Paula was who I spoke with. They were willing to bring the price down to $7,000, but after two hours of a painful situation and having a terrible feeling of being scammed, I had to listen to my conscience and send them away. You can't trust your belongings with people like that. I am out $1,128.99 on my deposit, even though they said they would refund me once I canceled -- they lied and never did. I'm trying to locate their office, but it's just a virtual address (I wish I had done research beforehand.) This is the first time in my life that I have been scammed. Do not use "Landmark Moving & Storage" to avoid the painful situation that I am now going through.
