GBI arranged a move from San Diego through AQMS I arranged a move from San Diego, CA to Harrisburg NC through National Van Line's agent, Blake Contardi of Affordable Quality Moving and Storage (AQMS). The signed agreement had a contracted price of $23,960.77. The estimate was signed by both parties on May 13, 2023. Before the agreed upon moving date and after a fully executed contract, National Van Lines informed me of an 8% price increase, and my move would now cost $25,710.41. By this time, all aspects of my move were in place, and I could not find a more reputable moving company. When my household goods were delivered by National Van Lines policy, I had to pay the higher price in full prior to any my belongings being offloaded in my new location. I have contacted AQMS multiple times and they say it is National Van Lines who will not honor my contract with their agent, AQMS.

GBMove with Confidence! Recently used National Van Lines for a large Chicago to NJ move and have only positive things to say. They were the first to respond to my online inquiries and were extremely fair priced. Sam Meredith at the Chicago office guided me through the entire process and was very responsive to my (many) questions along the way. Driver Jamie Burns and his crew showed up on time and did a great careful job with the packing, loading and unloading. Highly recommended!

GBDon't use if you value your stuff Driver was late and didn't know what he was doing. Movers damaged many pieces of furniture and every single one of our boxes had some kind of damage. 75 inch TV was damaged by the movers. Don't use.

GBI am an 85-year-old woman who moved… I am an 85-year-old woman who moved across country from Oregon to Georgia to live closer to my daughter so she could help take care of me. National promised my belongings would be delivered safely and on time. That promise was not kept. I waited for six days past the contract deadline, on borrowed lawn furniture, for my belongings to arrive. I was compensated $50/day for late arrival on a bill for well over $12,000. When the van finally showed up, I discovered much of my furniture, most of which was under six months old, heavily damaged. One piece of furniture wasn't even on the truck. One of the movers was in such a hurry to leave my house, he ripped the fabric of my new couch right before my eyes and didn't utter a word. The movers didn't set my bed up correctly before leaving, either, and the driver told me he spent two days enjoying himself in Las Vegas while on the way to Georgia. I filed a claim report for nearly $3,000 for the damaged furniture, and National sent a check for $216 to cover the claim. I then filed a claim dispute, was repeatedly told it was being handled, and six weeks later was informed that $216 was all I would receive as compensation - all strictly according to the contract, as stated by National. I strongly advise against hiring National Van Lines for a move. (Review written for me by my son.)
