GBSave your time, use a more ethical team My experience with National Van Lines and their and their sub (A2B Moving) was mixed. The driver that moved me from Seattle to Phoenix was awesome. Hands down the best I've ever worked with. The people who ran the company business side gouged me, straight and simple. I was guaranteed a NTE price for my interstate move, with a statement that the actual price would be based on weight if the weight was lower than the NTE weight estimated. I was told that once they took the load back to their office, they would weigh it and let me know what the new weight amounted to from a cost perspective. That never happened. They picked up my stuff, moved it 1500 miles and then told me they wouldn't drop it off until I paid the NTE rate. It was a weekend, so there was no one to talk to in the office. So I paid with the understanding that it would be made right. I immediately reached out to the owner of the business and never heard back. It amounted to close to $3000. Very disappointing. My advice to anyone considering this company is DON'T. There are plenty of good, ethical moving companies out there, and no reason to use one that isn't.

GBNo Accountability I received a call the day before our cross country move date to try to get me to reschedule which at that time I made them aware that I could not. CS stated that no one accepted this load until the night before. The crew showed with no packing materials. A moving company with nothing to pack the kitchen, and artwork even after I did a video call inventorying kitchen and paintings. Cesar the leader who arrived first at 7:50am, quit and drove off at 9am and never came back. After several calls to Tiffany in CS I came up with idea myself that the two workers who were left go to Home Depot and buy materials. There was no mattress bags/covers even after I did a video call inventorying bedrooms. Other furniture was placed on the truck unprotected which I made them pull it back off, and repack After 8 phone calls with Tiffany in CS, Lori (her supervisor) made me aware that this case had not been escalated. Even after the leader walked off the job, and with a crew too small to do the job, and no packing materials. So all the phone calls to Tiffany saying they were escalating to Operations was not true. Several items were loaded with insufficient protection. Shrink wrapping alone does not protect furniture from a long distance move. When workers shrink wrap their hands go right through when they carry the items leaving them open to dirt and insects etc... (I have pictures that were taken inside the truck to verify) Lori, (CS supv) said that they would take the truck to their Broadview office to "re-pack" properly things that had been improperly pack. Several items were left behind because there was insufficient packing materials and boxes. Coffee maker, knife set, tea pot, cookware etc... Paintings were put between mattresses instead of being boxed and protected. It took a 2 person crew 13hrs which put us a day behind on our relocation plans. I wanted to deal with National Van Lines exclusively. When 3rd or 4th parties are brought in this is what happens.

GBHorrific company Horrific company. They are a broker and as soon as I signed the contract, stop returning calls or emails. Five days before the move, National Van Lines charged an additional $4,000 for the move. I sent pictures with dimensions of every piece of furniture that was being moved. Two days before the move, I get a call from a different company (Jackson Movers) saying they will be conducting the move. Jackson Movers then charged an additional $3,000 the day they arrived for bogus charges and work they didn't even do. I can't express how horrific National Van Lines is. They should have begun by disclosing that they sold the account and they are just brokers who can care less about their or their contractor's service once you sign on the dotted line.

GBDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I wish I could give them a beg FAT NEGATIVE for stars! What a Fu*king Sh* SHOW!! Oh where do I begin! They were almost 2 weeks later than the original quoted timeframe, leaving us to buy a new mattress and sleep on the hardwood floor. SEVERAL items were damaged, and they WILL NOT PAY FOR THEM. We were asked if we wanted to count the items, but we're also told that the movers didn't have time. One of our cushions from a chair is missing and it costs more to have one custom made, than to buy a new chair. They lost one of our twin mattresses, and parts to a twin bed. However, "we didn't do the count" so we got screwed! Another damaged item is a piece of art that we paid $1000 for , from not being wrapped properly. Of course, they are not reimbursing us for that either. This is such a lazy and crappy company. We will NEVER use or recommend this company again!

GBAlmost great Almost great The pickup was great. Everything up until delivery was great. The delivery timing was perfect, but I can't give more than 3 stars because several items were lost. During the hectic unloading and putting things in their place at the delivery, things must've been left on the truck and I reached out to start a trace to see if they could be found but it's been almost two weeks and no information has been shared, so officially 2 children's mats, an entire rolling bag full of things and two large plastic pieces of an outdoor playhouse did not make the delivery. The people were friendly, everything seemed to be wonderful, but I can't let go of the missing property issue.
