I was hesitant to order blinds online… I was hesitant to order blinds o line because it’s hard to see and imagine what the color would look like from the photos online and I’ve never done this before. But I measured and selected these blinds based on price and we are SO happy with them. They were very easy to install with the help of one other person. They add so much to the room and I’m stoked to get rid of the ugly, heavy curtains we’ve had since we’ve lived in this house. I would take away half a star because the attachment piece of the little draw cord extender of the narrower blind pops off super easily for both blinds and it’s a pain in the butt to put back together- I think I’ll probably end up glueing it.

Special alert requirement I think there should have been an alert notification that the shade required top mounting. My window was an arch window without any way to mount. It required a Palladian shelf which I had no idea what that was. I was anticipating using the inside sides for bracket placement. This delayed my hanging the shade for over a month.

Fine product I'd give the product 5 stars (after 1 month). Since you ask about overall experience, there was a disappointingly long time between a "your blinds are being made" email (I only bought four blinds) and shipping, and delivery was later than projected at time of purchase.

Disappointing experience I had a great experience last summer. Sadly, this experience was no where near the same. There were issues with their web site when ordering. It was programmed to calculate the subtotal incorrectly, then it doubled my order. Finally got that all sorted out. Ordered. Waited for the order. Received the order and had a professional install the blinds. They are installed level, but they hang wonkily; some blades are level and some are bent. Next time, I'll go with a reputable local provider. I didn't know this was HomeDepot when I originally placed my order. Very disappointed.
