GBAckerman Sells to ADT - Consumer Loses, Of course. As all of you know Ackerman was a month-to-month operation. Ackerman sells my contract to ADT, ADT turns it into a 2025 end date contract. Cancellation fee is now $300+ ADT never changes, and the reason I was with Ackerman to begin with. A bunch of unaccountable thiefs.

GBMy alarm keypad problem turned out to be a false alarm. The technician showed up on time after making his "30 minutes out call". I explained my problem with the key pad on my alarm box. He did some diagnostics and we did some test runs and ultimately we decided that there was nothing wrong with the keypad. He was polite and informative.

GBSystem low battery, system maintenance We have been experiencing system low battery messages in the middle of the night, and the service was able to replace our battery and fine-tune a few other things while he was here. Very pleasant experience! It took a while to get the appointment, but once the tech arrived he was very professional and addressed all of our concerns (and more.)

GBDoug was a very nice gentleman Doug was a very nice gentleman. He explained what he was doing as he was working. He asked questions regarding placement of equipment to determine the best location of cameras. After installation of all the equipment, he throughly explained how to use the equipment.

GBIt took several tries to get Ackerman to the point of installation It took several tries to get Ackerman up to speed with their update. The first two live encounters told me there would be no costs for the upgrade. Ackerman missed an appointment to install the no-cost upgrade. After calling, I was informed I would be paying for the upgrade. The sales rep made his presentation and revealed a small cost upgrade which I authorized. The upgrade went from there to be as they said and was performed by a very professional technician in short order. Its all behind me know.
