GBMy entire process was deceptive My entire process was deceptive. I was excited to begin selling Vivint, but prior to selling I ALWAYS purchase to experience the product and ensure I’m being honest with clients. I signed up for Vivint right away and was excited. I was pushed through a process and given promotional items! The sales person started they would do a soft credit check to see if I “qualified for the service”. I was advised that my payment would be right under $50 monthly and that was the only information I was given. I had no idea and was not advised I would be taking on additional debt through Fortiva. What’s worse is I had a friend sign up and didn’t know about the Fortiva account until the payment was late and it was too late to cancel. I’m not stuck in a contract with a system I use intermittently at best and a line of credit above $2500. customer Service wouldn’t even let me pick a payment due date. Just get a Ring camera and call it a day.

GBCanceling is a pain Canceling is a pain. I followed their process. They require an email to their documents email address. I did that on Feb 9, but they still charged my credit card in March. I disputed the charge. Vivint's reply to credit card company was my account was still active and the charge is valid. I called on 4/22/24. I was told the cancelation is pending even though everything was in order and it should have been canceled. I was told it will take another 3 to 5 business to get the cancelation processed and to wait until I get an email verifying such before i call back.

GBOriginally I had posted a negative… Originally I had posted a negative review and for good reason. But, since that review the matter has been cleared up and I am thankful for the assistance from two very special, professional employees. This has revived my faith in courtesy and those who take their customers and their reviews serious. Its not always about selling a service or product but keeping your customers happy and owing up to the services that were promised. GBBeware terrible customer service! Beware, this company provides terrible service. My husband and I had hard wired cameras installed along with the control screen in our home, we paid extra to be able to review past videos and download clips. The quality of the cameras is worse than the current Ring cameras we installed and after several calls and resets we could never get the rewind function to work correctly. Ultimately we opted to cancel our service which beware is a task in itself, when calling you always get someone who hardly speaks English and sounds like they are countries away. We had to pay off our crap equipment over $1,000 to fulfill the contract before we could cancel. We called on 4/2/24 and sent email requesting cancellation like requested and are still be billed today for May. They have been awful to work with and their service was not good overall.
