GBParked on a pedestrian crossing not… Parked on a pedestrian crossing not allowing access for wheelchairs or pushchairs almost causing multiple accidents for pedestrians having to cross on unsafe parts of the road. Your vehicle has not only been parked here for a small amount of time it has been here since Friday evening and it is now Sunday evening! Number plate WP66 LGU. Suggest you have a few words with your workers about where they park because this is very unsafe for disabled, elderly and family’s.

GBAir Source Heat Pump Installation We installed an air source heat pump 12 months ago and the service and expertise shown by Caplor was excellent. The installation was very professional and despite being nervous about switching from oil to ASHP we should not have worried. The house is warm and we have plentiful hot water. Caplor quoted us some running costs and having had the unit for 12 months I can confirm that the costs were actually cheaper than anticipated. Very pleased indeed.

GBMajor failing There were some minor issues with the installation which were resolved within the contract. However, their major failing is communication, particularly when something went wrong. Unfortunately the heating/hot water system failed barely 2 months installation. It then became apparent that there was no emergency contact for repair. I had the phone number of a team leader who provided details of a local company for repair. Yet again, not straightforward: both numbers were for office and not out-of-hours. The issue was unresolved through the New Year weekend 2023. An engineer from the second company came within an hour but was unable to repair as it seemed a circuit board had failed. The manufacturer LG was no help because they too were difficult to contact and, when an order was placed, delivery was quoted as 5-7 days - hardly suitable for such an important piece of equipment. The irritation was enhanced by having a premium rate phone number for contact. Overall- rubbish.

GBThis is a brilliant local company that… This is a brilliant local company that carries out work nationally. Workmanship is excellent, staff are friendly and helpful. They have installed ASHPs for me, replaced failed inverter and generation meter on my PV system and serviced my solar thermal systems. Today I e-mailed a query about the set up of my solar heated hot water tank and got a response within an hour. 6 stars in my book!
