Super Solar PV + Battery Install They were quick and efficient on the quote / install, flexible to my needs and everything looks, and is working, super! It's brought down my electricty costs by half (approx) and it was the best feeling in the world to see the electricity usage on the smart meter fall (and keep falling). Next project is to find more roof space to put on additional panels and to get an additional battery.

The go to installers The installation of our air source heat pump (ASHP) went flawlessly from initial discussion to after care service. Knowledgeable, competitively priced with complete clarity, timely and clean work. The after care was very good with questions answered and help offered when needed. I think Caplor energy are more than worth considering. Well done Caplor team.

Air Source Heat Pump Installation We installed an air source heat pump 12 months ago and the service and expertise shown by Caplor was excellent. The installation was very professional and despite being nervous about switching from oil to ASHP we should not have worried. The house is warm and we have plentiful hot water. Caplor quoted us some running costs and having had the unit for 12 months I can confirm that the costs were actually cheaper than anticipated. Very pleased indeed.

Major failing There were some minor issues with the installation which were resolved within the contract. However, their major failing is communication, particularly when something went wrong. Unfortunately the heating/hot water system failed barely 2 months installation. It then became apparent that there was no emergency contact for repair. I had the phone number of a team leader who provided details of a local company for repair. Yet again, not straightforward: both numbers were for office and not out-of-hours. The issue was unresolved through the New Year weekend 2023. An engineer from the second company came within an hour but was unable to repair as it seemed a circuit board had failed. The manufacturer LG was no help because they too were difficult to contact and, when an order was placed, delivery was quoted as 5-7 days - hardly suitable for such an important piece of equipment. The irritation was enhanced by having a premium rate phone number for contact. Overall- rubbish.

The fitting and setup was pain free and all trades people and Caplor support staff were excellent. The system is performing well given the time of year and looking forward to seeing how does in Spring and Summer.
