GBVinotemp Motor Noise Vinotemp layout is difficult, the bottles in the back are hard to retrieve. Biggest complaint is the noise in the motor when the Compressor kicks on. Hard to describe but best description is it sounds like Whales communicating with each other. I did open a ticket, but asked to record the sounds which is quite difficult. Send a Technician or we may have to return our purchase.

This had been a similar problem with a less expensive unit from NewAire that we bought and returned. Looks like the Vinotemp Beverage cooler is the same unit but with better touch screen controls. Will be discussing this with Vinotemp. Hopefully it can be improved.

GBVery Happy with our new Vinotemp The wine Vinotemp fridge arrived well-boxed, was easy to move into it's new space in our basement kitchen, and after several months it has operated without any problems. It makes standard compressor sounds, as all such appliances do. Its stainless and glass door with wooden shelf fronts looks great. We typically have 25-30 bottles on hand, so it's the right size for us.

GBLook Elsewhere. Anywhere Else. Sold us a specific, in stock unit May 25, said it would ship ASAP. A month later, not shipped, and not even available any more. Agreed to substitution of another in stock item, on assurance it would ship ASAP. We warned we would cancel if they didn't. Total misrepresentations, numerous emails and phone calls. Kept promising it ASAP. As of July 10, still not shipped, said it would be at least another month before we got it, so we cancelled. Now can't get back money, AmEx continues to fight with them, and have been totally non-responsive in trying to resolve it. Run the other way. You cannot trust them.

GBGood for average consumer. Nice unit, but 300 bottles is a stretch - filling to 300 capacity will requiring stacking bottles 4-5 bottles high, two stacks deep (front to back). To retrieve a bottle in the middle of the front stack will require removing bottles on top of one another. If bottle is in the back stack, more bottles to remove and not break! ~230-240 Bordeaux bottles is more accurate (2-high, 2-deep = 30 per shelf)... but this will also require removing bottles to retrieve as the shelves cannot be pulled out due to the weight of 30 bottles and likely slippage of bottles stacked on one another. Temp gauge not accurate. Had to increase/decrease temp settings to get the refrigerator to the appropriate temp using an external temp guage.
