AUI ordered a book from Powell's to be… I ordered a book from Powell's to be sent to Australia and it arrived just about right on time. Reasonably fast delivery and the price on the book was absolutely fantastic! The book I bought here cost only one tenth of what it was advertised on other websites! Great customer service when I sent queries. Used book arrived in really good condition, basically like new, I was very very happy with it. It goes without saying, I highly recommend Powell's! Thank you Powell's 😊

GBThe website would not accept my email The website would not accept my email, password or giftcard number. All in all, a totally bad experience i do not want to have again. I will never use Powell's City of Books again. Take my gift card and do whatever it is you do with them to make them unusable. All my friends will hear about this horrible service.

GBPowell's did not pay me for the books I… Powell's did not pay me for the books I sent them for buyback. In fact, once the books were in the mail (using their label) I never heard from them again. I would recommend using one of the other buyback companies. This is not a business Powell's should be in. Had they been more expensive books, I would be furious.

DEWell known indie bookchain Well known indie bookchain, now located in the Pacific Northwest. I've never had any difficulties ordering items from the web from them. They were early pioneers of e-commerce, before the 'big gorrila'. Their strength is new and used books, especially academic and scientific publications. This family owned company is a well known collector of used books in North America.

GBPowell's Bookstore is the worst Powell's Bookstore is the absolute worst online business you can imagine. They take your money and fail to send you books. They do not reply to emails. The link they provided to follow my order was a bad link. The web site will not let me log into their Web Site or change my password. They have convinced me to go back to Amazon, which is very sad.
