The tractor… The tractor was given to Ron as a Christmas gift. It arrived in a zillion little pieces that needed to be poked out of boards. The video from the internet was handy whenever the directions were confusing to him. One needs patience and I would not recommend this project for children. Start with some simpler piece. The assembly was exacting and filled with detail, but the wood was sturdy, and held up to lots of handling. The directions said it would take 8 hours to put together. He spent at least 40. It looks fantastic and for someone who is not into crafts, he really enjoyed putting it together. He has now ordered the mantel clock.

Expensive toothpicks… I have built many ‘wood’ kits before and these are by far The worst… mere shotty picture for instructions with no words or explanations whatsoever, very few spare parts or critical ones that are Sure to break, and Many steps require the use of toothpicks which hold half the models together, poorly I might add… Also their ‘Support’ is virtually non existent so be prepared to figure out anything for yourself… two thumbs down! 👎👎

The Kinetic Clock was fun to build but won't ever work The Kinetic Clock was fun to build, even with the trouble with the flexible rows. It came with an electric motor, circuit board and battery case. The motor never worked, either with battery or USB connector. Can't get replacement for the electronics, only wooden pieces. This one is for your burn pile; it will never actually work.

Horrible Horrible! Don't waste your money. I just bought 2 R17 trains to try to get one together where the parts didn't break! I still haven't got one without breaking several parts. The toothpicks are absolutely insane to try to force through the holes. Prepare to sand...A LOT! Prepare to glue broken parts too. I've contacted the company to try to get replacement boards, but from what I understand, they aren't very helpful, and the replacement boards are $10 a board if you can get them. I wouldn't waste my money on them again. VERY dissapointed

Not quite as expected but very nice.... More difficult to get pieces to fit together than expected. Good instructions that are easily understandable but getting pieces in place harder than expected for teen without help .... which takes away the experience of "doing myself"
