Returning rugs 'stuck in customs' - no refund. Buyer beware! I've since come to realise my experience is identical to dozens of others, making me wish I had read reviews prior to falling for the glitzy website. The rug I bought was returned to Benisouk well within the 14 day returns window, and FEDEX has even said it was delivered. But according to Benisouk it is apparently 'stuck in customs'. Benisouk provide no proof of this, no evidence of any communication with customs, constant reassurances that they are 'working hard' to retrieve it from customs, but now six months in, I hold zero hope of ever receiving a refund for this and now they are not returning my emails. Benisouk states that we should use their own 'authorised' returns company, to guarantee delivery, but this is ludicrous. They quote you virtually the price of the rug to return it. I got a quote from the same company at a fraction of the cost of the return that they quoted me. Naturally I pursued that route. Now there is nothing to show for it. If you are thinking of purchasing any product with this company - spend a moment reviewing all the 1 star reviews first, and then draw your own conclusions.

Loved my experience with Benisouk Loved my experience with Benisouk. Great website with huge range of beautiful rugs. Easy to navigate and excellent customer service. My rug arrived from overseas in much less time than locally ordered products. It looks stunning on the floor and even though the photos on the website are a great indication it looks even better in real life.

One of a kind The description, photos and background story really helped sell me on the rug without even seeing in person. Shipping was fast and the rug arrived in good condition. It is really beautiful and the vibrant colors bring my living room to life. Because it is vintage condition, I found a couple hairs on it. Regardless, I really liked the rug and would rather purchase a vintage piece than new production from a generic store.

Beautiful Morroccan rug! I ordered a rug from Benisouk without knowing much about the company. I was extremely pleased with my experience. They have a huge inventory of beautiful handmade rugs, and our rug was delivered in just a few days. Their website shows numerous pictures of each item and our rug was exactly as pictured. I would definitely order from them again.
