GBWell, unlike some others, I had a great buying experience I see that Eyesave.com has been slammed a bit by some reviewers, and no doubt they've had some bad experiences. But I ordered some Maui Jims last Sunday and was very pleased with the transaction. First, I got the glasses for about $20 less than anywhere else I could find on eBay or the rest of the internet. Second, I bought the glasses on Sunday evening and by 9am on Monday had received an email saying the package had been shipped. The glasses arrived on Wednesday, in new and perfect condition, just like I expected. All in all, a perfect buying experience. Maybe I was just lucky, I'm sure bad transactions can happen with any company... but I have no regrets at all with Eyesave.

GBFalse Item Description/Would not replace with correct item Do not trust this company. There is a reason their prices are low. I ordered sunglasses with a particular lens that is normally much more expensive. Eyesave had them for $100 less. I selected the lens I wanted "Smith ChromaPop" with the frames I wanted "Frontman", ordered, sunglasses arrived after 4 WEEKS. I received the frames I wanted, but the lens was Smith's normal polarized lens. I told Eyesave's customer support they sent the wrong lens and explained that I'd like them to send the correct sunglasses and I would then return the originals. They replied and said "You can return the item free of charge." They did not grant my request. Then I sent photo proof to Eyesave's customer support. They didn't even reply after that. End result, I'm returning the sunglasses. If I do not receive a full refund (entirely), I will be in touch with them again.

GBWrong choice ...... Ordered Gargoyles Firewall shades (Black/Smoke) on Nov 3 after being shown as available on website. Received email on Nov 6 saying the model was no longer available. I did have some misgivings ordering from a no-name site, but learned my lesson the hard way. Its only Amazon and Zappos from now on!

GBDO NOT SHOP HERE This was the most horrible online purchase ever! My experience was very similar to a previous review posted by another shopper and looks like this is a regular scam used by Eyesave.com to intentionally sell lower quality lenses instead of what was advertised. I ordered a pair of "Smith Frontman" (frame) with "ChromaPop" (type of polarized lenses, expensive) lured by the low price from Eyesave.com. They had and issue shipping to my storage and offered 5% off if I used my home address. The charge came without the 5%! They took 10 days to ship. When arrived almost 20 days later, the frame matched the order but the lenses were just regular polarized, not the high end ones. It was even written on their invoice "ChromaPop" but not on the Smith's box nor on the lenses. Tried to log into my account to get the return label and my email was taken as "invalid". Tried to contact them on the phone and it's just a voice mail encouraging you to use the chat online and/or leave a message. Without and call back or reply for 3 days, I did use the chat. Customer service never explained the email address deletion. Sent me a return label in a png.file that had both sender and recipient unreadable. I had to convert it to jpeg. and had it enhanced to get a decent print out of it. The return was done 10 days later and with a $15. difference to the Eyesave.com pocket. They did not returned what I paid for. I did not even want to contact them again. Do yourself a favor, save time, money and headaches. DO NOT USE THIS GARBAGE.

GBHorrible, HORRIBLE Company!!!!! I ordered 2 pairs of sunglasses for my nephew's birthday 12 days ago. They said it would arrive in 3-5 days max. 3 days later they called to say my order was being held up for a billing issue. The issue? I was having it shipped to San Diego to my nephew, so it did not match my billing address. I even paid for gift wrap! That held up the order and they said it still could not ship for 2 days because they had to get it from the vendor. Guess what? 12 days later I just got another email that said my order was being held up for a billing issue!!!???!!! That I needed to contact them in 48 hours or the order would be cancelled! They are in NY, I am in LA, they are closed, my nephew did not get a birthday gift... All this time I thought the order had been shipped and received! I am pissed!!!!!
