AUDid not find their promises fulfilled at anytime. After 2 years dealing with Home Instead and during a hospital stay a welfare worker spoke to me regarding the expectation I should have experienced with my provider. A second stay in hospital another welfare worker spoke of similar expectations. I was very surprised to hear that both support workers had the same reaction, I had been self managing all this time. Home Instead were not fulfilling their part of the contract. I completed to ADA Australian who opened a case against rd Home Instead and agreed that I had been self managing. I had 5 care managers during this time and found mixed attitudes of rudeness, aggressiveness, poor communication, inability to provide suitable trades, miss direction and in some cases miss reputations of the truth. Looking back now I can see I was self managing but still paying their fees. Our contract terminates on the 12 th of February.

GBIf I could give less than one star I… If I could give less than one star I would! This is one of the worst companies for senior care out there. So far none of their employees know how to cook, clean, and from our experience, know how to read. We complain to the management and get nothing but lip service. Show them pictures of what their people do to "care" for our dad and still....nothing! They should be ashamed. Bigger problem is we can't find anyone to report them to, NOBODY to hold them accountable.

GBAfter training and starting work at… After training and starting work at home instead Worcester, I was not informed it would be a zero contracted hours… so as I wanted to further my career in care, I got offered a job with the NHS to work and train as a nurse associate and get a degree. I got a voice mail from the manager Karen very rudely asking what is going on, as had received a reference for me, she called me into the office and asked what it was about , when I explained I wanted to further my career in care and be a nurse associate, she snotty said “ and what is that” so I explained I’d get a degree in nursing. She said I was not a fit for home instead and would not go past my probation, which is fine by me. I said I would drop my bag of supply’s off but a family member past away, I emailed Karen explaining a family member past away and would get the bag to her the next day….. I received an email from Abby stating that I would not be getting paid for the hours I’ve worked and trained for…. I emailed back stating that By law (Employment Rights Act 1996), your employer must pay your wages on your agreed pay day, I have contacted head office through phone and email and no reply…. Avoid this care service at all cost !!!!!!!!
