They Cancelled My Appointment I called yesterday evening and made an appointment for the next day…probably around 4 pm, I have 5 kids and didn’t sign the consent forms before 7 so the counselor cancelled the session. I thought it was very unprofessional. I was up at 4 am thinking I still had this appointment, excited to finally receive help, only to realize she already cancelled the appointment. I called needed help asap, hence the next day appointment. I wont use Thriveworks.

I wish I never used Thriveworks I had never used counseling before using Thriveworks. My first counselor would often go on 10-15 minute tangents about seemingly random things rather than talk through anything with me and I quickly began dreading my sessions. Second counselor failed twice to set up recurring appointments, leaving me at home from work at my computer with no appointment. I then called and asked not to be seen anymore. Since then, I have been charged over $500 for "missing" appointments that were never scheduled and do not show on my appointment dashboard at all. Billing and office are trying to hold me accountable. I wish I never used Thriveworks to begin with

Thriveworks is been the best source of… Thriveworks has been the best source of therapy I have ever had. I initially had a great therapist I was able to talk to, which is actually part of my issue, talking. I decided to stop therapy but realized that I needed some more. I initially was doing remote and decided to do in person instead. I thought if they had one great therapist that they might have more. I was right. My second therapist was also very effective. If it wasn't for my two therapist, I don't know how I'd be doing. Actually I do, definitely not as good. I highly recommend Thriveworks and much thanks to Anna Settle and Todd Newman. Btw, bad reviews may be based on people in distress. It's easy to say bad things, it's really hard to get to the point of saying good things.

SERVICE SUSPENED for AUTISTIC ADULT I am an AUTISTIC ADULT and Thriveworks CUT MY SERVICE with SHORT AND VAGUE WARNING! When the Thriveworks third party calls from another country, they talk fast and sternly, only acting like a corporation caring about the money only. They apparently FORGOT or DON'T CARE that they are helping/healing severely depressed and anxious individuals with a multitude of mental health diagnoses and traumas. As an Autistic person with PTSD, MDD, and GAD, I didn't appreciate or feel comfortable with their INDIFFERENT ATTITUDE-style customer service. Way to go Thriveworks! This is a solid way to lose patients AND therapists. Luckily, there is a local 24/7 Suicide Support group in my area that I can contact while waiting to receive my disability retirement payment and begin a re-payment plan at the end of this month. Hopefully, I can resume my weekly CBT therapy sessions sooner rather than later. I have an amazing and highly-skilled therapist who is the main reason I am choosing to stay with Thriveworks. I go wherever my therapist goes.

Thriveworks bad business practices I logged in to write a review of Thriveworks and was amazed to read another review that captured almost word for word my sentiments. Therapist is awesome, company is terrible. My teenage daughter's appointments were cancelled without warning, and when I immediately called to get support, it was an off-shore call center, and the agent knew nothing and could do nothing. Even though the billing issue was resolved and they actually had access to my credit card the whole time, they refused to put my daughter's appointment back on the schedule, citing some 48 hour company policy. Agent refused to allow me to speak to any other person, saying they were "all in meetings." She was entirely unhelpful and unfriendly. Very frustrating and saddening, as this company is in the business of mental health. I had another experience previously when my daughter had strep throat, and I called to cancel AT LEAST 24 hours in advance, but they have a hard line, non-negotiable 72 hour cancellation policy, so they charged me a ridiculous fee to cancel.
