GBI had signed up with a career coach and… I had signed up with a career coach and had a number of good sessions. I had to miss one session due to a work conflict. My therapist had to cancel a session on me as well. I started to get texts from my old FSA provider that failed charges for $120 were coming through. I tried to reach customer service but was on hold forever and then left my number for a call back, which I never got. I ended up finding out from my coach that it was a late cancellation fee. They continued to try to charge my old FSA account. I was finally able to reach Customer Service and they said they would not waive the fee. I said then I would not be doing business with them ever again. A horrible customer service experience.

GBHorrible company, billing, customer service, Hit or Miss with the counsellor. Okay, so I see a lot of ppl saying it is a scam. It's not. It's just really sketchy the way their billing and company works. The therapist is awesome that I have, but thriveworks pressures you into signing up for a membership, that isn't mandatory. I have heard of people getting charged outrageous amounts out of nowhere. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC ON FILE. use a privacy (dot) com card, a virtual card, you can connect to your bank, so YOU can control it, set a limit, etc. This way I KNOW They can never, ever charge more then 39 dollars at once (even if I cancel, the charge for cancelling won't go thru). Just be careful how you use this service, be sure your insurance covers it completely, and make sure you read the fine print on this place. They are a very scummy company, with some great therapists working for them. This may be the only way to get therapy for some ppl, as it's impossible to find local therapists. When you call, you will not be connected to a "speclist" you'll be connect to some sales rep across the world, that will not match you to the appropiate type of therapist you need. They are terrible. I'd give it 1 start, if it wasn't for the awesome therapist I have. THIS IS THERAPY, THEY ARE COUNSELLORS. They cannot prescribe meds. I see that in a review below. Alot of the issues I see in the other reviews I was told by my therapist, can be handled by telling her, rather then trying to go thru billing, which is staffed by 6 people (from what I was told). Finding the right therapist....is gonna be really big miss or a perfect fit.

GBWARNING DO NOT USE What we need to do is file a class action suit against Thrive Works. Contact your state Attorney General file complaint for predatory business transactions. Their portal is down for maintainence. There is no area to cancel appointments. When you email support it is ignored and they illegally go into your banking regardless. File complaint with Consumer Protection Bureau. Send copies of your calls, email, screenshot of failed portal. Lastly, let your insurance co know their illegal billing practices. Humana referred my husband. Scheisters put it mildly on these extreme lazy & incompetant co.

GBTerrible therapist, terrible company I told the therapist (Dretha Burris) that I have Complex PTSD. In our 1st session she told me in detail about both of her adopted daughters major traumas. I froze, but had to stop her. Afterwards I have had bad dreams from her re-traumatizing me. She's obviously unprofessional and lacking in education. I reached out several times to Thriveworks to complain. NONE of their posted numbers allow patients to contact anyone directly or to leave messages. I've sent emails and tried contacting via their website - no replies at all.

GBGreat therapists, terrible billing/office The therapists my family has worked with have been wonderful. The Thriveworks billing department, however, are pretty awful. We've had frequent issues with them charging incorrect cards despite us asking them to update our payment method. The staff at the billing center are generally pretty unhelpful unless you manage to speak to a supervisor. They sound like they're trying but have very little power to actually solve problems. I think they've got some great therapists, but they need to get the business side sorted out.
