I learned my lesson I learned my lesson. Their prices and shipping are too good to be true. I placed a $100 cake/bread order on 12/26 and confirmation email stated expected delivery was 12/28. I finally got delivery today, 1 week later and like other complaints the box is half smashed. When I called to complain they requested I email pics of the box. Then I got an email back stating that they use all sorts of couriers and it was my fault for not opting for overnight delivery (which would have made this unreasonably expensive). They should just be honest on their website and say that they have no idea when you will receive your order.

Similar experience to everyone here Similar experience to everyone here. Delivered wine that was HOT. Was supposed to include chocolate covered strawberries but they were gross candy molds that we melted and disgusting. No one answers telephone or returns emails. I think we all need to take this to the news as this appears to be quite the scam. I am reporting the BBB and disputing on the credit card.

Substituted items, late delivery and poor customer service I ordered a 'gourmet' champagne and chocolate gift basket for my friend's 50th birthday in Canada. Despite ordering it 4 weeks in advance and requesting delivery on her birthday, it arrived 3 days late. I was told by Hazeltons it was my responsibility to chase the courier (difficult with an 8 hour time difference). On arrival, every single item had been substituted and there was nothing gourmet about it. Hazeltons explained they substitute items to avoid delays - clearly that didn't happen in my case. Hazeltons sent a poor quality item, 3 days late, and demonstrated no customer service. I'm doubly frustrated as I've used this company for the last 3-4 years without issue. Never again.

Received late and totally destroyed… Received late and totally destroyed items. Perishables had damaged packaging and most items had to be thrown out. Worse, customer service refused to issue a credit or refund even with a picture. They said the picture didnt show sufficient damage. I They ruined my parents' 50th anniversary. The parent company has several such websites. Do not but ANYTHING from Gift Group (their email addresses contain "giftgp")

I feel totally cheated I searched for a local company in Kingston Ontario to deliver a special birthday present. The web site offers same day delivery however when I ordered it I was advised 1-2 day delivery. The cake arrived smashed and I had the photos which I forwarded to the company. They said that I should have ordered same or next day delivery as it was perishable. At no time was I aware that the cake was being exported from the US to Canada. The adverts make sure that you think it is local. I am so angry. I should have looked on trust pilot before I ordered
