GBLas Vegas, Nevada I was extremely nervous about going wedding dress shopping and even considered not getting a dress at all. I had my first appointment with Alfred Angelo and my second of the day with David's Bridal. My first appointment was with Kate at Alfred Angelo. Kate did a wonderful job of making me feel at eaze and even have fun trying on dresses. She tried everything she could and helped me figure out what I really wanted. I didn't realize until later that she made my day wonderful, probably the best experience I could have had even for someone that was excited to go wedding dress shopping. After my experience at David's Bridal in Las Vegas, I felt ugly and like I was just another bride for them to make money off of. Alfred Angelo didn't treat me that way. Kate went out of her way to make me feel like I was going to be a Princess on your wedding day. I couldn't pick my dress from Alfred Angelo (they did not fit into my wedding theme) so I am hoping that you will go for me and buy one from Kate!

GBHorrible business policies when it's their fault Had a pleasant experience in the store but everything went downhill from there. Basically, when I was measured, they told me I was a smaller size than I expected, and I made them size me up just in case. Always easier to take a dress in than to add to it. They told me their dresses run big, and it was definitely going to be big on me, so I was very comfortable with that decision. Well, I got my dress 3 months later, and it was way too tight in the rib cage area. The bust and waist are fine, maybe even a little loose. My measurements are the same as before, but I can barely zip it up. I can't breathe comfortably or move around in it. Another girl in our bridal party had the exact same issue, along with other manufacturing defects with the dress. When I called the store, they said they could do nothing for me since there are no exchanges or refunds allowed. So if they happen to measure you and order you the wrong size or make the dress wrong, they can do nothing for you. Sounds like a terrible business plan. I can easily (and will in the future) go to many other stores where they will actually correct their mistakes. So to sum it up: 1. Size people correctly. When in doubt, go up in size, not down. 2. If you do make a mistake in your sizing or dress-making, own up to it and correct it. I did nothing wrong. I went into the store, got measured, placed the order, paid, and patiently waited. I'm now stuck with a dress that is too small and a store that is not willing to work with me. You can't try on your exact size in the store because they don't carry all sizes. You rely on them to size you correctly for their dresses. They know their own dresses best. (Or so you would think.) You have to pre-pay for the dress ahead of time, which was about $200 for us. You then have to wait 3 months for them to make the dress. And if the dress happens to be too small, which makes it very difficult/impossible to alter, they can do nothing for you to correct their mistake. REALLY?!?! They don't have anything in inventory either, so it will take a long time if you do want to order another dress and spend more money with them. Oh, and they did say I could make an appointment for alterations, but I know they just want my money. And they charge way more for alterations than other places. My friend was quoted more than 3 times what another place cost. We have plenty of other friends who will be getting married in the future. I will tell them to definitely NOT go to Alfred Angelo's Bridal since our bridal party has had so many issues already, not just mine. David's Bridal is WAY better with their policies and their customer service.

GB3 Times Can't be wrong!! I have been to the Baton Rouge store twice in the passed two months. The first time I went was a Saturday after I had the worst morning of my life ever at Pearls Place in New Orleans. I absolutely had NO appointment. I knew they were busy and I waited with my cousin who brought me for an hour and a half. When I finally did get someone she was the most attentive person I could have dreamed of. I think her name was Carolynn, can't remember exactly and I feel terrible I don't. She was extremely patient with me and helped me in and out of every dress. If they DIDN'T have a dress shown in the catalog she would pull a dress of the exact same style and have me try it on. I went back again for my second visit with most of my bridesmaids and the girl that had helped me the first time came in that day, on her off day, and helped me and my bridesmaids try on dress. They have such patience with me and I return that favor. My last visit was at the store in Orlando on May 18, 2013, to show my mother the dresses I was interested in. I had an appointment for 12 but had to wait a few minutes because they were insanely busy. If you don't take the initiative to walk up and talk to someone how are they to know who you are and what you are there for? So I walked up to the counter and asked someone and they told me they had a few workers call out for the day and would have me set up with someone as soon as they could. I waited about 20 minutes but that was fine for me because I understand that these are human beings too! Not robots there just to put dresses on me and cater to me alone. Patience and a good attitude gets a long way and maybe some customers should have one when they go in, instead of throwing a fit because the workers there didn't bow down to you. Your bad mood/attitude rubs off on other people even if you yourself do not realize it. I had three wonderful experiences, yes I had to wait, but I know what I want so I don't mind. My mother has purchased my dress from the Orland store since she receives a discount and is having it sent to me over here. I intend on purchasing my bridesmaid dresses from here as well. I can't say too much about alterations because I haven't gotten mine yet. Will review again when I do.

CAHorrible customer service and incorrect product size I cannot believe that there aren't more negative reviews about this Alfred Angelo store! Unfortunately, I did not go into the store myself to check it out (I am the bride and I bought my dress elsewhere, thank God!). However, I liked a dress they had for my bridesmaids and flower girls so all of my bridesmaids and my flower girls got their dresses there. Every person that store is rude! They made nasty comments to BOTH of my sisters! Not only that but they ignore you when you are obviously looking for some assistance! So my BIGGEST problem which is even WORSE than their customer service issues.... They ordered the wrong size for one of my flower girls and, of course, we have no recourse! Brides BEWARE of Alfred Angelo in Arlington, TX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
