GBExtremely Disappointed I recently picked up my wedding dress and I'm extremely disappointed in what arrived. To start the dress was brought out all wrinkled. There are strings hanging from what is supposed to be a brand new dress. The beading is also lifting off and doesn't lay correctly. When I was zipped into the dress the top clasp pulled out and now needs to be reenforced. The dress ordered for me is too big, you can see down into the front of the dress due to a gap where the dress doesn't sit right and I have no figure or shape at all in this trumpet style dress. I was told that the dress being ordered would fit my chest and I would only need to have a little bit of the waist brought in. But because the entire dress is too big the whole thing needs to be altered to fit. So now I have to pay for a larger alteration and to also have these dress defects fixed. The only reason I rated you 2 stars is because at least your staff is nice. I'm beyond disappointed and frustrated. This is turning into a nightmare.

GBThe women were so helpful! The women were so helpful. We took my grand daughter who is a handful with personality. She wanted nothing to do with playing dress-up. Cynthia was fantastic. Just told me where to measure which was not rocket science. Shs also helped me find my very first store bought gown for my daughters wedding. Awesome experience.

GBHorrible business policies when it's their fault Had a pleasant experience in the store but everything went downhill from there. Basically, when I was measured, they told me I was a smaller size than I expected, and I made them size me up just in case. Always easier to take a dress in than to add to it. They told me their dresses run big, and it was definitely going to be big on me, so I was very comfortable with that decision. Well, I got my dress 3 months later, and it was way too tight in the rib cage area. The bust and waist are fine, maybe even a little loose. My measurements are the same as before, but I can barely zip it up. I can't breathe comfortably or move around in it. Another girl in our bridal party had the exact same issue, along with other manufacturing defects with the dress. When I called the store, they said they could do nothing for me since there are no exchanges or refunds allowed. So if they happen to measure you and order you the wrong size or make the dress wrong, they can do nothing for you. Sounds like a terrible business plan. I can easily (and will in the future) go to many other stores where they will actually correct their mistakes. So to sum it up: 1. Size people correctly. When in doubt, go up in size, not down. 2. If you do make a mistake in your sizing or dress-making, own up to it and correct it. I did nothing wrong. I went into the store, got measured, placed the order, paid, and patiently waited. I'm now stuck with a dress that is too small and a store that is not willing to work with me. You can't try on your exact size in the store because they don't carry all sizes. You rely on them to size you correctly for their dresses. They know their own dresses best. (Or so you would think.) You have to pre-pay for the dress ahead of time, which was about $200 for us. You then have to wait 3 months for them to make the dress. And if the dress happens to be too small, which makes it very difficult/impossible to alter, they can do nothing for you to correct their mistake. REALLY?!?! They don't have anything in inventory either, so it will take a long time if you do want to order another dress and spend more money with them. Oh, and they did say I could make an appointment for alterations, but I know they just want my money. And they charge way more for alterations than other places. My friend was quoted more than 3 times what another place cost. We have plenty of other friends who will be getting married in the future. I will tell them to definitely NOT go to Alfred Angelo's Bridal since our bridal party has had so many issues already, not just mine. David's Bridal is WAY better with their policies and their customer service.

CASkip it Worst company ever. We went to the one in Syracruse, and much like the rest of these comments....you should skip it. They sit you down, give your group some candy and kleenex and a lovely young lady who tries to find the right dress and you start to wonder what all those negative comments were about and then BAMM you soon find out...about the rudest manager. The manager not only was heard saying in very rude tones..."one more dress"(with a nudge towards the assistant helping us, after we had only tried on 4 dresses), and "what does the bride think"(after the bride had already acknowledged she didn’t care for the dress). Such things toward other groups were also overheard rather loudly such as "you need a dress? That one has about a thousand". The behaviour of an overbearing, rude manager who by the way let the group wouldn’t pull any dresses, will surely put this little establishment out of sale... By the sounds of some of the comments online regarding this place, the feeling is mutual. We went to Davids Bridal which was next door and found a dress almost right away without the pressures of a manager interfering.
