MXNo Customer support Dozens of order made succefully, with really high shipping cost though, i could not complete an order becouse they were charging me $60 usd for a lightweight book (others sites like amiami charges like $20usd for similar weight), and i was banned for life. I tried to reach them but not luck, is like they really don't speak english, they don't have customer support or they just have cold heart. Thankfully there are other options to buy from Japan, Surugaya + proxy works better.

AUAstronomical shipping fees They have very good prices with their items. But they over-inflate shipping fees to very shocking extents that it defeats the purpose of getting any good deals from them in the first place. Would've given 0 rating if I could, for trying to milk you for that big extra lump of money at the shipping.

FRMy purchasing experience with Madarake… My purchasing experience with Madarake was deeply disappointing. I bought a celluloid during an auction for 50 euros. To my dismay, upon receiving the item, it was in a deplorable condition and emitted a strong vinegar smell. I naturally requested a return, which was granted. However, the shipping costs to send the item back to Japan amounted to 190 euros, nearly four times the item's value. I reached out to Madarake, hoping for some form of commercial gesture or that they would cover the prohibitive return cost, only to be met with utter silence. Despite sending over five emails, I got no response. Furthermore, my delivery through DHL was plagued with delays and issues. With DHL refusing to process my complaint since I wasn't the sender, I once again turned to Madarake, hoping they could step in. Yet again, my attempts to communicate were ignored. While Madarake might offer quality products, their customer service is downright pitiable. If you encounter an issue with a purchase, be prepared to be left in the lurch. Such indifference towards customers is unacceptable, and I can only caution others about the risk of ending up the "big loser" as I did.

HUBest japanese website to order from abroad I ordered many many items from Mandarake and all of them were positive experiences. They are usually quick to respond to a question and are really trying to be as helpful as possible. Also you can find pretty much anything anime, games, music, books related and even though most items are second-hand, the condition is almost the same as if it was a new product.

GBGood product, bad communication The description of the item was accurate. The reservation worked well and the email was sent in less than 4 days. However, there was a problem with the purchase option; the website didn’t work properly and didn’t accept the card payment. As a result, I had to email and ask for paypal payment option which was given in 1 week time. Overall, I am happy with the product and the variety available , but I am unhappy with the site not working for payment and that finding sources to contact/ask for help is really hard. Everything else from price to packaging was fantastic.
