GBThis is a TOTAL scam This is a TOTAL scam. Their phone is an outgoing message and their website/support is an endless loop. Trying to reach them through LinkedIn didn't work either. I don't know what this charge is and the best I could get (via AMEX) is a "receipt" with the amount which I already knew and nothing else. This was a recurring change on top of it. I blocked any future charges and if I don't get anywhere with getting the 36.80 refunded or an explanation of what I purchased I am opening a fraud case. I have no email record of any kind which is SOP when you "purchase" something via online.

AUFailed Payment on every device Tried making a payment over several days now, every single time it says "Something went wrong, please try again". Mastercard, VISA & Paypal. Different computers, different devices, different browsers. I'm not sure how a business or businesses can function if their hosts' payment systems don't even work.

GBHmmm Hmmm. Very frustrating and not on. Had an issue with being charged extra after I had already paid, and an automatic payment being set up without my consent. It happened again immediately after, despite me trying to make sure nothing went wrong this time (I'm looking to buy a set of 8 videos in total). Customer support told me to contact the creator, despite it being a platform issue, but gave me a no-reply email addres. After I raised a dispute in PayPal (ongoing) I was sent an email admonishing me about doing this, saying I'm now banned from using the plarform, and told to cancel the dispute if I want to be unbanned. Still no help with my issues even though I had sent screenshots.

GBE-Books VAT exempt ...but not according to Gumroad Looked at buying an ebook that shouldn't carry VAT on it as the UK treasury made e -books exempt.... Sent an email to customer services asking why this was happening and got one back saying they had to collect it.... which is simply incorrect. FROM HMRC site: Items that are entitled to the VAT zero rate The following electronically supplied products are now eligible for the zero rate of VAT: books booklets brochures pamphlets leaflets newspapers journals and periodicals - including magazines children’s picture and painting books
