About TPO Mobile USA

TPO was started by three friends sharing a common vision. To transform something that people use everyday, their mobile phones, into a force for good. They launched it in late 2012 in the UK and it's been growing ever since. In January 2014, Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia, joined the company. Our goal is to raise billions for good causes worldwide, delivering goodness with every connection made. 10% of customers’ mobile bill is directed to their cause or charity of choice at no extra cost to them.

Great Company; Spotty Cell Service Love the company and it's ideas about sharing for charities. Cost is very reasonable, so overall I'm happy. However, be prepared for occasional dropped calls, spotty service, or no service areas. I can live with these issues due to TPO being (in my opinion) a very socially responsible company. I'll stay with them because of that.

Impressed ! Hello, Ive only been a TPO customer for a few months, but I wanted to say thank you for the excellent customer service. Every encounter Ive had, whether it be through email or a call to a live person, has always been quick, courteous and helpful. It's so rare these days to get this kind of excellent service, especially from discount cell service companies. Thank you TPO for a great service! My experience has been nothing but great for the pricing offered. TPO support was necessary at the outset (two years ago), but has been unnecessary ever since. My voicemail alerts on iPhone SE were a little quirky, but it wasn't irritating to me. I loved their business model when I first signed up, and now am truly sorry to see them exit the US market. I wish the TPO team well in their UK endeavors, and I hope someone in the US will be courageous enough to emulate these pioneers of truly good business ethics! THANK YOU TPO!

Bad Billing Started with TPO in Aug 2017 and just terminated service on April 11. Discovered they were charging a sales an utility tax for a City where I don't reside. They researched, agreed with me, blamed a third party vendor, refunded the amount collected, but then kept collecting it month after month (crediting the previous month on the bill and charging it all over again). Billing is not transparent - you have to ask for detailed billing information. I'd be hard pressed to recommend the carrier.

TPO is reasonably priced (for the US) TPO is reasonably priced (for the US), but the coverage isn't great. For some reason, I have no coverage in the old buildings in which I work and live. Other networks do have coverage in these buildings. I don't know what the problem is, but this is definitely a drawback! I also travel a lot for work and do not consider the international packages available either user friendly or reasonably priced.
