French to Eng SRT file for use in Adobe… Exporting a SRT file for use in Adobe Premier, the transcription is very out of sync with the audio file that I provided, as in each line is randomly out of sync, so its not just an issue of retiming the sequence. There are is a lot of text out of order also. Some times text is repeated many times. Big waste of time and money. On the plus side the French to English is fairly good, but because I don't speak both languages I will not be able to sync the files one line at a time and make the necessary corrections.

SUBSCRIPTION ISSUE I am currently a student and as part of my training, I have to write a research paper. Therefore, I need to conduct interviews and transcribe them into text. I chose to subscribe for only one month at $30, but without paying attention, I was charged $169 for a one-year subscription. I contacted customer support to get a refund and was contacted back in less than 24 hours to find a solution. I thank the Cockatoo teams for their assistance. On the other hand, the site is very intuitive and provides very good transcriptions for interviews of more than an hour. I recommend it!

Cockatoo is a life-changer Cockatoo is a life-changer. The quality of the Cockatoo transcriptions is really good - I’ve tried almost everything, and used every laborious process, over the years. My work is interview-based, and involves interviewing many different people. Cockatoo is the first to provide genuinely useable transcripts, super-fast and incredibly reasonably priced. It’s not perfect, and Maori words in particular do not transcribe well (which is an issue, as here in Aotearoa New Zealand we’re all using far more te reo Maori in our daily lives) but, in general, it is a godsend. I’ve recommended it to many others.
