Swift Transcription Service I recently had the pleasure of using Cockatoo's transcription service, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I am more than happy to leave a 5-star review for this outstanding service and company. First and foremost, Cockatoo's turnaround time was astonishingly fast and within a few minutes (thanks to their AI software) I had a strong base of my 2-hour audio file. The user-friendly interface of Cockatoo's platform also deserves praise. Uploading my audio file and specifying any special instructions was a breeze. The website is intuitively designed, making the whole process seamless and hassle-free. Additionally, their customer support team was readily available to assist me with any questions I had, displaying a high level of professionalism and dedication. Lifesaver app Cockatoo is seriously amazing and made my work (and therefore life!) so much easier - the layout, the accuracy, I've been needing a transcribing app for years now especially since I often have hours of video to transcribe. Great job guys :)

Fees too high The 1-star review is not a reflection of their service, nor is it a reflection on the quality of their transcriptions, which sets the benchmark in the industry. I have tested other transcription services and none even come close. However, having been a subscriber and regular user, I find their 264% increase in annual subscription rate way off the scale. I'm sorry, but as I don't use anything like the available word or file limit allowed, I will not be renewing. Perhaps they might consider offering a lower annual subs rate for a lower usage requirement.

French to Eng SRT file for use in Adobe… Exporting a SRT file for use in Adobe Premier, the transcription is very out of sync with the audio file that I provided, as in each line is randomly out of sync, so its not just an issue of retiming the sequence. There are is a lot of text out of order also. Some times text is repeated many times. Big waste of time and money. On the plus side the French to English is fairly good, but because I don't speak both languages I will not be able to sync the files one line at a time and make the necessary corrections.

great name, even better software 🦜 Cockatoo is THE BEST. Their software = ease. It's fast and intuitive and when you have to transcribe half-hour podcasts like me... a real time-saver. With it, I can just focus on editing and curating each interview, which is the fun part. Can't recommend enough! 💪
