GBOverstock.com refuses too deleted credit card and account information Bed, Bath, and Beyond (bought by Overstock.com) refuses to delete any of my information, including the credit card on file and account on the website. They claim they need everything stored for 4 years for business purposes. I understand the info on the internal database cannot be deleted for tax related reasons, but under the California Consumer Privacy Act, BBB is required delete any information that they can. No other company has refused this request. If you face this problem, contact the attorney General and California's CCPA department to voice your concern over Overstock.com storing your personal information. Once again, Bed, Bath, and Beyond (Overstock.com) is refusing to delete any of my information at all.

GBOverstock has my money and product Overstock claimed to have shipped my product 29 days ago with a company of ill repute. Of course it arrived damaged and I refused delivery, but now Overstock needs 3-4 to review, and magically during my text chat online and phone call, no mangers are available, even though I let them put me on hold multiple times during a 20 min span in attempt to reach one. It was the same ploy the one and only other time I ordered through this company. Now I have no product and no refund, and no supervisor who can address this issue properly !!!

GBFirst time (...and last time) customer First time (...and last time) customer. Ordered item online, finally received wrong item via UPS after a shipping delay. Called and texted company to report their error. Overstock sent their choice of a substitution without notifying me, or providing the option of canceling. AND, the substitution is advertised as lower priced, so I was overcharged. I'll stick with Amazon, eBay, and my local stores.

GBGood luck reaching customer service Good luck reaching customer service. I have been buying from Overstock for years, over 140, orders, spent thousands of dollars. I purchased a light in March 2023, due to unforeseen circumstances we were not able to install it until November 2023. Tried various methods to get in touch with them, no response. Hold times were over 45 minutes, crazy. Was told my issue would get escalated and I’d get a call back. Two calls back later, my request was denied. I know the usual return policy and have always been within that timeframe. I did not think asking for an exception for a return would not be granted due to my history with the company. Lesson learned about buying ahead of time and also about loyalty to the customer. Not sure I will do business with this company anymore as their customer service has taken a nose dive.
