company to be avoided of… transaction authorised by bank of cyprus. public say card declined. paid twice.despite providing a statement from b.o.c. confirming transaction authorised. public continue to ignore requests to credit my account. situation ongoing since 1st july 2023.manager !!! DO NOT BUY FROM PUBLIC

I ordered 4 items and received the 2 of… I ordered 4 items and received the 2 of them only while on their end seemed as fully delivered. I called them about 4 times, I sent email and after one month +, neither refunded me nor sent the 2 remaining items. While in the past I did not have similar issues after this non existent customer support, I will never buy anything else from them. Its ok until you have actually an issue, then good luck... the amount thankgod was really small but still is not the amount (which I paid anyway) but the experience and the scam.. Even if they did not believe I was saying the truth if they had a serious inventory they will see that they could find the issue.

Everything 's wrong I ordered five English books for my daughter's summer vacations last July. One and a half month later they sent me an email that I will get the books sometime in the middle of September. Called them and ask them not to send them and asked to use the money for something else. They accepted. 3-4 days later a courier send me a message that I have an package from Public. Ask the courier not to send the package and I called back Public to tell them that I will use the money for school books and stuff. They accepted and told me that they will send me a refund. At the begging of October, I called Public again to ask my money back because at that time they hadn't sent me the refund and I'd finished the school's buying. They accepted. After over 50 calls, I managed to get my money back yesterday, 21st of December and after having me waiting at the store for over a hour! Stay away from Public's Web orders! Stay away from Public's call center!

Better yet, Public.gr is one of the few companies in the country to have an online platform in both Greek and English - smart and commendable!
