GBProduct=5; Service=3 The product exceeded expectations. I bought it online, without any experience in what i wanted for a vent for a bathroom fan but knew i had little room between upstairs bathroom ceiling and roof line. So five stars for the product. Three stars for communication of when the product would ship. After three weeks i called to find out the product would likely ship the same or next day. I can't help but feel my call prompted the shipment. Your system lacked a follow-up email to advise customer of shipment. All i got was the order was sent to manufacturing. Also the ordering process was cumbersome, having to wait on a shipment cost after ordering. Expensive shipping $18 for an $18 vent. For a regular UPS cross-country fee for a part that weighed a few ounces seemed high.

GBNowhere else First of all, Active Ventilation was the only company I could find that offered a solar powered (PVC) roof vent fan / accelerator. The web site was easy to navigate, product specifications easy to understand, and the ordering / fulfillment process was quick and easy. The item arrived within days, neatly and safely packed. If I have any reservations, it's that the fan doesn't seem to pull much. But I'm going to trust that the CFM rating they "advertised" is accurate since everything else about them is buttoned-down.

GB03/21/2019 03/21/2019, I emailed roofvents.com some pictures on my kitchen, bathroom and roof vent. Later spoke with Ethan half hours on the phone. At the end,Ethan offer his expert advise on what I really need and don't need, without pushing to sale anything to me. I REALLY APPRECIATE HIS HONEST ADVISE. I will recommend this company to anyone as they are honest people. I was going to buy some replacement vent and hoping it will fix my problem but Ethan said I would do it but will not solve my problem. Thank you!

GBI received the air vents for my roof… I received the air vents for my roof within a week and were in perfect condition (packaged very well). They are exactly what I expected. Installation went as planned...no surprises regarding the vents from Active Ventilation Products.

GBafter 13-15 years they still perform like it was day one i bought of pair of Active Vent retrofits -- 13-15 Years ago (!) to replace those useless turbine spinners -- i noticed brown spots on my ceiling - surprised to discover they were letting in rain and they were in good shape and spun fairly fast. i just took out the spinners - fit these retrofits in - they fit just right - fastened the standing vent pipe with some galvanized screws - easy peasy. Fast forward to 2019 - they still look great although the label has faded from being exposed to the sun - They do not let the rain in - and i live in the NYC area which saw back to back hurricanes - Irene in 2011 and the devastating Hurricane Sandy 2012. These retrofit vents will prob out last me.
