Poor quality XT strings. I thought I would try a set of XT Phosphor Bronze 12/53 on my Taylor acoustic instead of the usual Elixirs. Rubbish quality as the ball end unravelled on both unwound stings when tuning up. Maybe just unlucky by I’ll stick with Elixir or EXPs.

Excellent service and information. Restoring a very old Banjo Mandolin with rusty strings and a split skin, I contacted D'Addario for help with stringing.
