The only company I use for plumbing and heating work! I’ve used the 2nd City team for over 15 years. I own a number of rental properties and they manage all the plumbing and heating issues that arise, have done boiler replacements and also a drainage issue I had in my own property. I wouldn’t and couldn’t go anywhere else. They are decently priced and always try to come out the same day where possible. I totally recommend their services.

Looking forward to using them again! The engineer was friendly + hardworking with good office support. A part not easily available was ordered and delivery date established at 5pm on first visit. Came very early to finish job. Great value for quality of service! Planning to using them again soon and have already recommended them

Brilliant service We had a leak from the main bathroom into our living room below. James the engineer quickly located the problem, which was a cracked seal on our shower. The problem was fixed within the hour and all at a very reasonable cost. Very polite customer service on the phone, friendly service by the engineer himself.

First time we used the company First time we used the company. Fast, efficient service. Engineer - Dan (Covid safe PPE) was very helpful in explaining the process of removing old boiler & installing new one. He also removed an old gas fire, sealing & making safe pipe work. Would definitely recommend the company.

Suspicious quotes - beware James from 2nd City recently quoted me £336.00 (inc VAT) to replace a syphon and handle kit in my toilet cistern. I was suspicious as it seemed a simple repair so got a second quote that was £70-80 max. I also have suspicions about one of two further quotes James gave me (for over £1,000) as my second opinion diagnosed a different, much less serious problem that needs little if any attention. I was surprised to be charged £65+VAT for the visit which was effectively giving me a bit of advice and quoting me for these 3 jobs. I will not be using 2nd City and am suspicious about all the 5 star reviews on here. Following 2nd City's response, I am inclined to say that I am simply reporting the facts and how my experience made me feel
