GBDeception From the Very Start I've never signed-up for this company's offerings, and never will. American Home Protect uses deception as their leading business practice. Over the past 3 years, and as recently as this past February, 2024, I have received numerous misleading mail pieces from them, claiming in urgent language that my home warranty is about to expire. With my mortgage company's name printed in bold letters at the head of these mailings, it looks like each notice is an urgent warning from my lender. So, naturally, one would be concerned upon receiving such a letter. But I have never had a home warranty (first warning of a scam); and the printed lender's name is not the name of my current lender (second sign of a scam in progress). Well over a year ago, I wrote to American Home Protect, requesting that they cease sending me these fraudulent notifications, yet their threatening notices still appear in my mail. Just read all the other, similar complaints about this company's misleading business practices. There are over 200 complaints filed against them at the Better Business Bureau, alone. One would have to be something of a "dim bulb" to fall for this company's misleading solicitations. Clearly, that's what it is counting on to drum-up new business. Don't succumb to their ruse! A company which employs deception from the get-go is going to get the better of you, in the end.

GBCalled on two items Tuesday Called on two items Tuesday. Water heater and dishwasher. Today is Friday and still have not gotten either one fixed. Could have saved the money and gotten both repaired by now.

GBNon responsive I needed to file a claim and have someone come out to check my AC. I called AHP and was advised they would have someone contact me to come out. This was in early July, I've not heard from a contractor or the company. I'm also unable to get written documentation on my policy.

GBThey do not pay Vendor Invoices! We are a 36 year old Appliance Repair company in the Scottsdale AZ market. We have completed service calls for American Home Protect and they have not paid our invoices. As a small business, we do work for these companies in good faith. They finally paid the invoice, but did not pay the late fee that should have been paid since they were 6 months or longer past due. I would not recommend doing business with them in a vendor capacity
