Recent very positive experiences with Public Storage Esp Shamar My experience with public storage has always been very positive and thus time it was further reinforced positively by the Counter manager Shamar. I was closing the unit, he politely enquired why and I said I had moved to PA. Then he took time to tell me the procedure Even though he was busy with inbound call he was professional and courteous throughout

Beware of the periodic rental raises!!!! There should be a cap on their rental agreement. When I downsized to a smaller unit it didn’t take long before we were notified about the rent increase. We have the smallest storage unit available 5x5 for $127.00 a month. Now, we just got another notice that our price would be $165 per month. That’s more than the 5x10 we use to have. On the site it says a 5x5 is $42 a month!! I feel ripped off. Periodic rental raises are understandable, but not when they jump up $38 extra a month for the smallest unit! As soon as I said we are moving out, they were quick to offer a lower price. We were good customers on auto pay.. they took advantage and expect us to pay 4x’s what others pay. This needs to stop. There should be a cap. Next stop is to report to the BBB. .
