GBI CONTACTED COLONIAL EARLY APRIL FOR A… I CONTACTED COLONIAL EARLY APRIL FOR A COMPARISON TO ANOTHER NATIONWIDE MOVER AND EVERYHTING WAS GREAT UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE MY PICKUP. AT THEN LAST MINUTE THEY'RE USING A 3RD PARTY MOVER AND THE ENTIRE TIME UP UNTIL NOW IT WAS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD THAT A COLONIAL TRUCK WOULD BE THE PICK AND DELIVERY MODE. I CHECKED OTHER EXPERIENCES ON THIS APP AND MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN. I'M SO PISSED OFF AND DISSAPOINTED BECAUSE I'VE BEEN DECEIVED AND I CAN EVEN BEGIN TO EXPRESS HOW DISAPPOINTED I AM WITH THIS COMPANY AFTER ALL THE GREAT THINGS HAPPENED UP TO THIS POINT. ON SATURDAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM A REPRESENTATIVE OF COLONIAL FOR A REVIEW AND I ASKE HIM WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO PAY AND THEN I ASKED HIM WHO I MAKE THE CHECK OUT TO AND HE TOLD ME (ITX) WHICH WAS A RED FLAG BECAUSE ALL ALONG I WAS EXPECTING A COLONIAL TRUCK. TODAY I SPEAK WITH MY (DEDICATED ACCOUNT MANAGER) AND SHE HAS NO FRIGGEN CLUE HOW TO TAKE CARE OF ME THE CUSTOMER BUT ONLY SPOUT OFF THE BS RESPONCES SHE'S OBVIOUSLY MEMORIZED. NO CARE OR CONCERN WHATSOEVER WITH HOW THIS CHANGE HAS AFFECTED ME. I COULD GO ON AND UNFORTUNATELY THEY HAVE ME OVER A BARREL BECAUSE MY PICK US TOMORROW. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY SAY THEY'RE NOT A BROKER BUT THEY ARE !!!!!!!! WARNING !!!!!!!! VERY, VERY PISSED OFF AND DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER. 4/23: after speaking with first two customer support people and then an escalation manager I have a better understanding of how this business operates and since they're nationwide there's no way they have enough moving trailers so they have to "contract" other companies to meet customer demands. However, they still need to strengthen their customer service and communicate better and earlier in the process if a non-Colonial company will be used. All is good now and I hope tomorrows pickup goes well.

GBInterstate move Despite inclement weather on the day of our move, overall experience has been great. Movers were professional, courteous and highly efficient. CVL staff were equally great, especially Zach V. We would recommend CVL to anyone considering a long-distance move.

GBHorrible Company to work for The owner of this company Aldo Disorbo has mastered the art of screwing people over. Instead of focusing on screwing the customers over he now screws his drivers over, meaning you will have a angry mover relocate your belongings they may quit in mid route with your belongings, and not being paid or treated properly. I know from first hand experience.

GBMy experience was exceptional with Colonial Van Lines Moving My experience was exceptional with Colonial Van Lines. The initial service representative was great. He took the time to answer all my questions and explain things when my questions were repeated. He returned my every call and that set me at ease. The quote was in tune with the initial estimate and fairly re-adjusted when things and weight were added. The pickup and loading guys were exceptional. This was turned over to another van lines of which was explained to me. The truck they packed was different than the one that arrived with my items. This was explained that the other truck was being serviced. The delivery and unloading guys were equally as professional and courteous. All the individuals loading and unloading were probably in varying degrees of spanish decent. All were pleasant and we were able to understand each other without incident. I would recommend and used Colonial Van Lines again.
