Work Traveler 87
GBWaste of time As echoed below, the trail is a complete waste of time. Can only export drawings with intrusive watermarks on them which block any content from being read. I will not be purchasing as I have no idea what the finished drawings will look like in a report.

GBBad Bad Bad Started creating a quick drawing I desperatley needed. I went on to 'save' , and I got prompted to log in or 'create account' - so I logged in using google, then got prompted to pay for subscription... Not even the slightest option to go back to the drawing I spent time drafting.. felt like I was blackmailed: either you pay or your drawing is gone.. goodbye then... once and forever

FIThe software keeps crashing I'm an Interior Designer and I have used SmartDraw for many years to draw layouts. It seems that it has gone worse over the years as it keeps crashing way too often and it doesn't even keep your previous versions of work. I just lost about 3 hours of work when it crashed AGAIN, even though I had saved all the time. It says I have a "damaged" file, but I can't open it. In my experience there's very little support for users.

GBI've had Smartdraw since 2013 I've had Smartdraw since 2013. If you asked me back then, I would've told you Smartdraw's the bomb but in 2019, it's old and trite and I barely use it. It's stuck in same boring 2d visuals while the rest of the world has moved to 3D and 3D rendering. I've asked when will they start making exciting 3D visuals but each update has the same outdated stuff ZZZZzzzzzzzz. Even Powerpoint has moved to loading in 3D images. If the next update has the same boring 2 dimensional visuals, I'm done.

GBClumsy to use and would not load my saved files After creating an account and spending a couple of hours getting used to the program and drawing a floor plan, I named and saved a couple of documents only to find the files would not load when I logged in again. It seems other people have had this problem. Regarding using this software, anyone familiar with using Autocad or similar will find it clumsy and awkward to use.
