ATHappy Linode user since 2014 I started using Linode in 2014 and am a happy customer to this day. They run about 20 of my servers, hosting my services for a few hundred thousand users. Uptime and support are great. In fact, I decided to write this because I had a very good support experience (fast response with great information) just yesterday. Their object storage is useful, but it could be a little faster. Finally, I think their prices are very competitive. To me, for 9.5 years and counting, they are an excellent provider.

INFalse Advertising, Terrible Support They advertised that they are giving free $100 credit. But, if we signup, they cancel our signup without even allowing us to know why they cancelled our account. Additionally, we are unable to contact them via email or phone. I sent an email, no response. Tried to call, no one pick up the call. Worst experience! Linode = Sh*** Support. Stay away from this fraud company, guys!

BRI have servers at Linode even before it… I have servers at Linode even before it was sold to Akamai. My experience of more than 6 years with Linode is excellent. Sure, the support isn't great, but who needs to open a support ticket when everything works fine? What I manage is the performance of the servers. I have a VPS with a dedicated CPU and it's great. SLA 99.99999% and very fast server response. Linode provides top-notch DNS to the world and rich documentation for customers to study. That is all!

ZAI signed up for Linode and had false positive account block I signed up for Linode and had a false positive fraudulent activity notification after signup. I sent and an email and received no response after 2 days. As infuriating as that was I loaded 10 dollars call time and called them, spoke to a lady named Abrose or Amber, cant remember for sure. I recieved curteous and professional service. Just for this, I will choose Linode.

MTTech support is good Tech support is good. uptime has been very good apart from 2 wordpress sites which had leaky cron scripts and consumed all ram, resulting in crash. After disabling wp cron it has been much more reliable. pricing is great, though backups @ 20% of server cost is too much. I tried probably 15 - 20 other cloud providers before settling on linode. 6 months in and I'm confident I made the right decision.
