GBAmerican Auto Shield is a good company American Auto Shield is a good company. Their extended warranty plans cover an enough to a lot. I have the $100 extended warranty plan. The positives – The app is informative, clear, and easy to use. Both of my claim’s worth around a total of $4,200. The negatives - Their wait times can be a little time and some of their customer service representatives can be somewhat dismissive. You may have to go through the “fire” to get a claim to be honored. This may include talker to higher-ups and filing a report to BBB. Overall, I appreciate this company for honoring my two claims.

GBWorse company ever Worse company ever. I was told my vehicle needed a transmission. I use Carshield My contact list it covers transmissions. American Auto Shield told me my claim was denied because it was for an electronic part. Now I cant get my vehicle fixed These companies should be shut down because they rip people off. Thanks for nothing

GBThey take forever to process your claim & Don't Cover Rental for a reasonable amount of time… They take forever to process your claim and expect you to foot the bill for the rental, as they only cover 7 days. They then allowed their appraiser to lie to me and tell me that the part would be delivered in 5 days. I spoke with the mechanic, who said the work would be done in 1 day, so this should have worked for me. I went and got the rental based on that information. Since then, they called me and said that the shipping will take longer, but they will not cover the rental for a longer period because the repair is not covered in the contract. I understand contracts, so I get it, but as a customer, giving a 1-star review is deserved for what I have had to put up with this service and what its going to cost me out of pocket.
