GBDon't trust delivery times! Don't trust delivery times! Non-existent customer service and 0 responsibility for huge delivery delays. Took me going through 3 different delivery company's to find where my order was. Thankfully I managed to go and collect it which made it worth while but I couldn't speak to any one. When I did try to call it went through to a different company's email address. A bit dodgy but I did get my order - through no help of Car Racks!

GBDreadful Do read and take note of previous reviews. This company is dreadful. Operates under several names, no contact phone number, listed as a London address but operating out of Ireland. Ordered an item, received a tracking number but didn’t work when I went onto the courier website (random courier that isn’t well known). Sent 3 emails to Car Racks customer service and got no response. Was about to open a query with PayPal, 10 days later my order suddenly arrived, after the date I needed it for. Too late to use the items now but can’t be bothered with the battle to try and return as there’s just no response from these cowboys! Pay a bit more and buy from a reputable business.

GBDissapointed! Ordered a set of roof bars 14 days ago… Ordered a set of roof bars 13 days ago and the dispatch timescale was 2-3 working days. 5 days passes and no dispatch notification so I put a contact request through the website and got a response the item was out of stock but there was an alternative. Replied almost immediately to ask if there was a price difference and to ask for dispatch timescale. this was 8 days ago. Haven't had a response from the company since and no dispatch notification. I paid by credit card but can't dispute the transaction until 30days has passed. This is not good customer service and I need those roof bars! @carracks.co.uk contact me and get this resolved and I will consider revising my review and rating!

GBAvoid at all costs Avoid at all costs! I recently bought roof bars. The item was incorrect for my vehicle and the the online advertising misleading. Trying to return the item has been disastrous. Items need to be returned to their parent company, Mick's garage, based in Dublin. My item has been stuck in Irish customs for 11 days with no notification that an extra customs charge of €43 was required to release the item. On top of the £27 postage fee. Also, no guarantee that I will be refunded as the 14 day returns policy has lapsed. Honestly, avoid.

GBTrouble free purchase I was surprised that the parcel tracking stated that the parcel started its journey in Dublin, but it arrived within the 4 days quoted by Car Racks and no import duty was owed. The rack itself looks good quality for the price.
