Don't trust delivery times! Don't trust delivery times! Non-existent customer service and 0 responsibility for huge delivery delays. Took me going through 3 different delivery company's to find where my order was. Thankfully I managed to go and collect it which made it worth while but I couldn't speak to any one. When I did try to call it went through to a different company's email address. A bit dodgy but I did get my order - through no help of Car Racks!

Buyer Beware The contact phone number on the website doesn’t work. Can’t call anyone. These “HQ” located in London is an address to a different building. Actual location is a different company called micksgarage you can’t contact them either. Expect to pay import and export duties as they won’t tell you where your item is being shipped from. Scam company AVOID Scam company AVOID Order ref -CR6028 Company take payment for items that are not in stock , no communication, had to constantly chase via email as phone lines are fake and not answered . Only got my money back because I payed via PayPal and raised a claim against them . Please don’t use this Irish based firm , there are plenty of other companies who are are legitimate

All’s well that ends well? As in other reviews, I purchased an item then only later realising it would be shipped from the ROI after receiving shipping information. Emailed the company being concerned with import duties, but only (to date) received an automated response. After reading reviews I was dreading how much extra I’d need to pay. The big surprise was that the item (kayak) arrived in 4 days with a sticker saying customs paid! I was expecting to have to pay around £100+ extra and write an appropriate review, but, based upon this purchase, I can only knock off one star for the stress over customs duties and lack of communication. I could take one more off, but in the end I’ve got my kayak quickly and at a very good price! Lucky?? I hope not and hope that this is the pattern in future…
