GBHonest and Upfront Towed my vehicle in with what I thought was a transmission problem, which turned out to be an electrical systems failure. They told me they could do the work but admitted it might be cheaper to go somewhere else, because the only way to find the problem was to bill me at their hourly rate as they went through and checked each part of the system until they found it. They charged me only the cost of the initial tests, even though I left my car on their lot for a couple extra days while I figured out where to get it towed next.

GBI had taken my truck to Cottman… I had taken my truck to Cottman suspecting that a vibration I was feeling was a transmission problem. They found that actually my driveshaft was very loose and repaired it accordingly. A second problem was my "check engine" light, which had been coming on intermittently for months. Other shops had failed to find the problem but Cottman diagnosed a faulty EGR valve. I replaced that myself and have had no further check engine light illuminations. I was completely impressed with the competence and friendliness of Cottman and will happily refer others.

GBTrustworthy Trustworthy. I heard very troubling sounds from transmission. They found no leaks. Fluid was very low. They replaced the fluid. Said to me they suspected it was not adequately attended to previously. So far, no continuing problems. I like the active and good communication from owner, Kevin.

GBProfessionals Knowledgeable, experienced technicians.Diagnosed and repaired my AWD Ford quickly and competently. When a problem could be transmission, front or rear differential, or transfer case, you are at the mercy of an expert and can easily be taken advantage of. In my case the problem was an electronic control module. It was replaced for about $300. I felt like I was dealt with honestly and professionally.
