I ordered the EVO 2022-2 North America… I ordered the EVO 2022-2 North America map update for my 2016 BMW 428i online. A couple of hours after the order was placed, I received download and installation instructions via e-mail. (The file is large (~28MB) and took over half an hour to download.) The instructions are straightforward, although I found it necessary to provide my own Fat32 formatter for the USB. Nonetheless, everything worked, and the new map is now successfully installed in my Bimmer!

However, very few things can be done by the owner as BMW has built many complex systems into the “Ultimate Driving Machine”. Bimmer America provides all the knowledge I need to update my BMW GPS maps myself. Thank you for making a smooth process.

10/10 BMW Navigation Update! The Navigation update for my BMW was massive (24GB to download) but they sent great instructions and everything worked out perfectly. 10/10 experience. Going from the 2014 navigation version to 2023 is a huge upgrade :D Use Firefox for large downloads. I struggled downloading that large of a file with several other browsers.
