I absolutely ADORE Gusto I absolutely ADORE Gusto! It is SO easy to use - extremely intuitive, and if you can't figure something out, their customer service people are responsive and right there willing to help. They have made this process SO much easier than it used to be for us, and I wish I would've switched to them long before now!

Incapable of Benefit Management & No Continuity Between Their Internal Depts Most of my experience with Gusto has been positive. However, Gusto seems completely inept handling any kind of issue or error they create in payroll benefits. Nearly six months of repeated escalated tickets, I’ve been handed off between benefits and payroll. No continuity between departments. It’s the worst experience dealing with any company in the decades of my administrative career. Do NOT use their benefits management option.

I have nothing good to say about this… I have nothing good to say about this company. Each customer service rep at Gusto has told us different things for the check reversal we initiated. Come to find out none of them are able to see in real time if funds have actually been disbursed or not. They say give it 3-5 business days. We are actively looking to find a different payroll company. Spare yourselves the headache and look elsewhere for payroll services.

This site allows you to provide an honest review. As a CEO and owner of my company I switched from a small local payroll company to Gusto in January and it has been nothing but absolute misery. The customer service is horrible. Nobody knows who is doing what and you cannot reach a live person to save your life. They are condescending and rude and delay in their responses. we are clearly going to make a change but too many changes and payroll causes big problems with 941 and tax so we are going to have to be stuck with them for a little while. I cannot tell people enough to steer clear of this company.
