GBjobsworths... A really poor experience when attempting to log outgoing and incoming tenants and wanting the meter readings for the void period. The lady was more concerned with being a jobsworth as opposing to being helpful, perhaps explaining why the collective feedback here for anglia water is abysmal.

GBSmart meter leak that’s being proactively dealt with. Apparently there was a malfunction when a smart meter was installed recently and we were losing a lot of water at my elderly Mum’s home. Anglian had to manage our expectations, as there have been some real national water emergencies lately that have occupied many of their engineers… … but despite this, their customer service team endeavoured to put in things to protect us (as a customer) while they worked around the problem. It’s nice when companies have both contractors and employees who want to deliver a first rate and professional service (onsite) and this review isn’t simply a pat on the back for Anglian, but more a massive thanks to team players, Barry Chaplin and Ben Ainger. Both guys quickly identified the issue and have tried to expedite its solution.

GBWhat a refreshing change to deal with a… What a refreshing change to deal with a competent polite and helpful company. We had a drain issue, though it was just the downstairs toilet, but when I lifted the manhole it was obviously further down. Call Anglian water, straight through to a very helpful young lady, who explained everything booked it in, apologised it would be up to 4 days before the engineer could come out, which was fine. Got updated by email and text. Call was Sunday afternoon engineer was here Monday just after lunch, gain very polite and helpful and got it all sorted very quickly.

GBHad a look at recent reviews for… Had a look at recent reviews for Anglian & was quite surprised ,as my experience over the last 44 years in the same property has always been 5 star. I particularly like dealing with their customer care team ,who i believe are in Nottingham. I never have to go through multiple button press sequences ,but get to speak to a REAL person as soon as the call is answered ,usually in seconds rather than several minutes with most companies. Their staff are friendly ,helpful & knowledgeable and usually sort my concerns there and then. How i wish other organisations were ,dare i say ,this good. Many thanks Anglian.
