GBPlease help! I need the promised REFUND Please help!! I’m being told by Albus at DeluxeFlights that the publicly stated guarantee of “100% refundable” ticketing does not apply to my wife! Her reservation record locator is 647156. My wife purchased on March 13 a flight from ORD to KTM, and then from KTM to BKK, and then from BKK to PVG, for a total amount of $6,176.97. This trip was to attend a relative’s wedding in Nepal, and then proceed to Bangkok to visit her ailing 94 year old Mother; followed by a trip to Shanghai for business. Soon after ticketing, the wedding and planned reception in Nepal was cancelled because the groom’s grandmother just died. And the COVID infection rates rose dramatically in Shanghai, making it very difficult or impossible for Americans to travel there. As a result my wife cancelled the flights from Chicago to Kathmandu, Kathmandu to Bangkok, and Bangkok to Shanghai. This booking CONFIRMATION number is S8XX23, on 3/13. For travel ORD-KTM, KTM-BKK, and BKK-PVG. My wife called on 3/18 and cancelled these flights. She still has not received her refund. And the travel agent DeluxeFlights says nothing is refundable. And this is contrary to airline business practices during these days of pandemic. PLEASE HELP AND SEND HER THE $6,176.97 REFUND.

GBSkylux Travels Superior Service Bart G. from Skylux travels went over and above. He made great efforts to help us get international flights suited to our budget and time. When we had to cancel due to an illness, he fought for us to get refunds even though the flights were unrefundable. I highly recommend Skylux Travels and Bart G.

GBDuring the purchase process During the purchase process, after I provided my credit card information to the agent Xavier, he informed me that in case the airline employee asks me about the source of my award miles ticket, I should say that I received the ticket from a friend. This made zero sense to me and I told Xavier I will not lie. He called me twice to repeat the same request and I informed him that my flights must be changed and that I will not be doing business with DeluxeFlights. It was obvious to me that after I informed Xavier that I will NOT do business with Deluxe Flights, and my flight schedule changed that he will cancel my reservation. I later learned that my credit card was charged for the flight I was not planning to take. The Master Card reviewed my complaint and determined that the charge was valid because I provided my card and billing information. This was an expensive lesson for me to not buy tickets from DeluxeFlights. They sell award miles tickets, however the discounted price does is not worth the trouble and in my case loss of my money as well.

GBI worked with Andrew Pierce I worked with Andrew Pierce. He was terrific, ensuring we got business class to Australia at a good price. But more than that; much more. You see, we were on a cruise in 2021. The cruise was postponed by a year cause of Covid restrictions in Aus/New Zealand AND our itinerary was changed. Instead of starting in Auckland, NZ, we STARTED THE CRUISE IN SYDNEY. Therefore, not only did our flights in 2021 have to be changed to 2022, but the destination had to be changed from Auckland to Sydney. A real mess. Andrew took it calmly, and changed the whole travel with only minor penalties. We flew Business Class from Raleigh to Sydney with no problems. AND WE FLEW OUT ON DEC. 22nd, the day of the great U.S. cold snap. Chicago, our first gateway, was -20 Farenheit!! But... no problems. Andrew was great and calm throughout. Almost always available. No 1-hour hold music. No hassles, good, flights, good price. 5-star service. Thank you, Andrew!
