GBTrying to book a BA ticket from London … Trying to book a BA ticket from London to Basel, Switzerland and when I go to do the payment details, it keeps saying payment card type is wrong when it isn't! I am paying with a visa debit card and it's telling me its the wrong type but why?!?! Can't book my ticket and after seeing all these reviews I feel put off. Sky scanner is a very trusted website and to be going through a 'secure booking' on sky scanner and it not being like that all because of Ctrip is making them look terrible.

GBDO NOT USE CTRIP Ctrip is a disgrace, I’ve used it a lot as I live in China. However I will never use it again. Flights that are listed, continuously show no tickets available once you get through to the paying page, even worse if you are flying with a Chinese national. Different flights are available to different people at different prices. Please save your self time and money and use a more honest platform.

GBI booked a flight to visit my father I booked a flight to visit my father. However, sadly he passed away unexpectedly and I needed to refund the ticket so I could get out immediately to see the body. Customer support were very polite but claimed they were not aware of EU regulations on distance selling that guarantee the right to cancel within fourteen days. Ignorance as a defence. In the end, I had to fork out an extra few hundred pounds just after Christmas to rebook. I did see the one star rating on skyscanner but thought it was an acceptable risk. Please think twice.

GBBEYOND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BEYOND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Booked a flight to Seoul from Shanghai. Instead of landing at 8 pm, the plane landed close to 11 making me miss an important business meeting I was meant to be attending in the first place. On the way back, over 2 hour delay as-well. No warning from Ctrip. Ended up wasting a whole weekend, a ton of money and never made it to the business meeting. When I confronted Ctrip about it and asked for some type of compensation for their incompetence, I got given a bunch of excuses and got hung up on. Basically you pay for a service that you never receive. Absolute bullocks!

GBPaid for a ticket then they cancelled it! Paid for a ticket via skyscanner and after an hour of the payment being processed, it said all tickets were sold out?! Why charge my card before checking if there are any available spaces? This is ridiculous. By the time I found out they had cancelled my flight, it was too late and all the tickets were too expensive! AVOID this disorganised company...
