GBNever book with these bozos. Travelocity is what is called a third party seller. If you book an airline ticket, a cruise, hotel, etc., and you have a problem, you are unable to deal with the actual company they represent. My flight was changed by more than 7 hours, Travelocity wouldn't rebook me on another flight, something they're required to do or issue a refund. The airline told me that since I bought from Travelocity, they had to handle the refund request or rebooking. Travelocity did neither. AMEX stepped in when I contested the charge and it was charged back to Travelocity. According to the airline, this is par for the course with all third party sellers with the exception of brick and mortar travel agencies.

GBDo Not Book with Travelocity We booked a package via Travelocity. The package included a roundtrip flight as well as a hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel was not reachable given the late arrival of our flight and the impossibility of reaching the last ferry on time in order to reach our hotel. I emailed and called the hotel to inquire about the transfer. The hotel never replied to my email but the hotel representative I spoke to on the phone confirmed that we would not be able to reach the ferry in time to check into our hotel. I spent 8 hours messaging with and calling Travelocity in an effort to cancel the hotel and book a hotel that would actually be reachable once we landed. After a full day of back and forth conversation, Travelocity stopped replying to my text messages. Once I called, the Travelocity representative called the hotel and promised that I would receive a waiver/refund due to the "invalid transfer." She also told me to go ahead and book a new hotel which I did. The day of travel I received a message from Travelocity saying that they were unable to process my refund despite having promised it and despite my having booked a new hotel under their advisement.

GBINCURED EXTRA COST BECAUSE OF THEM!! Half my flight was canceled due to weather. I was stuck in Miami. When I called to try and see if I could change my pick up location from MCO to MIA or just get a rental for the 3 hr drive from MIA to MCO and pick up my original car there, he canceled my whole booking for the rental car saying I wouldn't be charged. I had to rebook a new rental for the week which cost way more (about double) because of different drop off location from pickup. and on top of that they STILL charged me for the original rental because i was under the 6 hr window. I don't travel alot but I am upset with whole experience.

GBTravelocity Travel Insurance/Global Luxury Suites FAIL We had a week long stay booked at the Global Luxury Suites in Boston,MA thru Travelocity with insurance. We had to cancel because my Brother in Law suffered a brain hemmorage/Stroke which eventually caused his death.Travel Insurance won't pay, Global Luxury Suites won't recognize our cancellation thru Travelocity. If that wasn't enough, my husbands credit card is now being used fraudulently likely because Global Luxury suites requires a COLOR copy of your credit card when you book. We have booked with Travelocity in the past without issue but this time the ball has been dropped and we have been left hanging in very desperate and tragic situation.
