GBListing on VRBO used to be a very easy…. Not any more. Listing on VRBO used to be a very easy process. Now putting up a new listing is a nighmare. I have spent over an hour trying to put up a new listing and I keep getting this error message for over an hour: "Try refreshing the page. We're having trouble loading this. Wait a moment, then try again." I tried calling the customer service number at 8:40 am on a Tuesday morning and received a recorded message that their offices are closed and to call back later. This is horrific customer service and a terrible website. How can the website have issues at the very beginning of the listing process for over an hour. This is not the first time I've had problems trying to put up a listing.

PTVRBO ruined our vacation VRBO ruined our vacation! They are part of the same company we refuse to ever work with again which is Expedia. They will not advocate for your experience as a customer. Their business model is not to give a refund no matter what. Even when the host of the VRBO had a mattress that was made of coils and rocks. I recommend that you work with airbnb instead of VRBO.

GBIncompetence rules!! I’m an experienced Superhost on air b n b, listing my property on Vrbo has been an appalling experience !!! I asked 72 hours ago for a UK tax form to be sent to me so I could complete it for HMRC, the tax form they have sent me is for the US. I’ve just been told that this issue is not as simple as it would appear! Really!!!! I’m a UK resident not an American!!!! Surely not rocket science but it would appear it is 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Customer service non-existent! With air b n b , issues resolved with hours. Vrbo, 72 hours after issue, I’m still waiting!! Be wary of using vrbo as a host or guest!!! I’m removing my listing from this platform as they are so incompetent !!!!

RSVrbo is a SCAM Vrbo is a SCAM, never again ! I booked the sea view apartment in Hurgadha, Egypt ID: HA-481BOZ and the host phone number in the Vrbo system was wrong. After contacting Virbo agents Rowena and later on Noel via chat they could not find the host and when I canceled the reservation, and requested refund I've been told that money is already with the host who does not exist and they can not do anything SCAAAAAAM !

GBFriends and I booked an apartment through VRBO I, my husband and some friends rented an apartment in Saint Maarten for 3 weeks. Unfortunately things went very wrong from our first day due to unforeseen circumstances. Positives We contacted VRBO as soon as the problem happened they were very helpful, asked us to send photographs and it was agreed we could not stay in the apartment. VRBO agreed they would pay for us to have up-to three nights in a hotel. Negatives We put in a claim to be reimbursed for our three nights in the hotel, we paid our bills individually therefore two separate claims were forwarded to VRBO on the same email. My friend was asked by VRBO to forward bank statements and proof of ID. This was sent via email for both parties. Time and again VRBO asked for proof of documentation this was sent at their request. Eventually they have now settled my friend’s claim but we are still waiting for ours. There have been many emails sent to various departments only to be told the emails are no longer monitored, the case is now closed. There have been many attempts to contact VRBO through their “contact us link” what a joke that is !!! Come on VRBO pay up as we are nearly £300 out of pocket. This is unacceptable!!!!!
