GBNot advertised correctly. Extreme basics in house. The house had only extreme basics - no coffee maker, no can opener, no extra towels, no extra bedding. The last email of our booking and the bottom of the page mentioned boundaries of the beach. Advertising of the house was not clear as to what beach access we have for the weekend. A room off the master with a fireplace and couch was closed and locked off, again that wasn’t advertised correctly. We were the last renters of Marla Bay house so that may have been why we were left without basic rental house supplies.

GBThe wifi instructions were inaccurate The wifi instructions were inaccurate, so my group and I couldn't log into the wifi until a Buckingham representative got back to us. There wasn't even enough toilet paper to accommodate for 8 people for a 4 day trip. I slept on the top bunk bed and I found dog fur and other particles on my bed sheets, so I felt very uncomfortable sleeping. I wish they were thinner blankets that weren't micro-fleece material because I had a hard time sleeping at night being in a room with 3 other people because it was too room. We tried to turn on the ceiling fan, but when it was spinning, it almost felt like it was going to fall off from the ceiling. The kitchen cabinets could've been cleaned better. We found a few bugs in our room closet.

GB3.8 stars for Sequoia Chalet. Pros: -Clean , quiet ,safe location, and easy check in. -just 2.5 miles to Heavenly SKI resort and,Riley's supermarket -Pool table and lovely backyard for kids to enjoy the snow -Good size- about 3000 square feet -amenities provided- towels, soap, shampoo, spices Cons: -Paid a premium expecting a luxurious experience (like our previous rental with Buckingham) -The mattresses are really old and it was uncomfortable to sleep in them. - Sofa bed in office room was torn and damaged so could not use -Not enough comforters for our family of 10 .

GBPerfect for girls weekend The Wilderness Lodge was absolutely perfect for our group. Everything was in great shape, we had everything needed for cooking, eating, linens, etc. Loved the heated towel racks and heated tile floors, a definite must for winter time in Tahoe. There was plenty of space, beds were comfortable and the hot tub was wonderful! The snow did overtake the deck, but it was beautiful so it didn’t hinder much. Everything was easily accessible and we will definitely be coming back in the future.

GBPerfect Perfect! My family’s 5 night stay at the “birds nest” was great. Small, perfect intimate cabin. It had everything we absolutely needed for some great family time. There was great communication prior to our stay and after (as I left a jacket behind) and I was able to pick it up at the property office. Check in/ check out was super convenient and easy as well.
