GBFantastic ride I had an awesome time using Spinlister in SF. My only current issue is the lack of protections for riders. At this point, it seems like there's no recourse or protection in the case of a stolen bike - even if it was locked properly and you took precautions. It'd be great to have the option to opt into some insurance during the reservation. I ended up feeing a bit worried the whole trip and hoping something crazy didn't happen with the bike.

CAGreat website and great service I've only used Spinlister once, when I went to New York (Brooklyn) for a week last summer. I found a bike that was totally affordable for the week, though it was in pretty poor condition. (You get what you pay for, right?) I would definitely use this again for another trip and will likely put my spare bike on the site to rent, once I've tuned it up a bit.

GBThrilled such a site/service exists. I have only used others' bikes, not rented out my own. I had one snafu with gaining access to a bike in Portland, OR. The owner wasn't overly easy to reach, but it was resolved within an hour.

GBGreat Service! Be sure to screen your renters. Some renters can be flaky or demand too much. Don't bend over backwards for a rental (one person expected me to drive for over an hour to deliver the bikes to a hotel). Other renters are great and completely painless, and these are the majority. Spinlister is great, especially if you live in a densely populated area. Out in the suburbs, it can be a challenge occasionally.

GBThis site is a total joke This site is a total joke. The "renters" don't respond and neither does their "customer service" ......total waste of time.
