GBHow not to handle refunds Ordered and paid for a rack. Five days after placing the order I'm informed it's not in stock. I cancel the order. 7 days and 3 emails later I finally received a refund through PayPal. But the refund is "pending!" It's now nearly 2 weeks since cancelling and I'm still not able to access my refund. Terrible customer service, not helpful or apologetic regarding excessive time to receive refund. It would appear this company would benefit from real-time stock management software. As most of the complaints listed here relate to sales being made for items that are not in stock, and the subsequent delays in refunds being issued.

GBLove my Inno Kayak Assist Bar I received my Inno Kayak Lifter Load Assist Bar on time and am happy to recommend BackcountryRacks to my kayaking friends. It was easy to use UPS package tracking to know when it would arrive. The Assist Bar makes loading my kayak much easier, especially after a long day of playing on the river.

GBAccurate Product Suggestions for Your Vehicle First - product is exactly what I expected and fit my car perfectly like the website’s search suggested and product description reported. I dropped a star because when the roof rack arrived, the packaging was a disaster. Also, there was a minor piece that was chipped. This damage had no negative effects on performance and is not visible once installed. Usually receiving a product in that condition would have infuriated me, but I did purchase from a “clearance” portion of the website for 50% off retail. I’m sure it was a return or something.
