GBYou get for what you pay for You get for what you pay for. From the beginning of the policy I was misinformed when I was quoted. When my dog was injured submitting my claim was a nightmare. Routine wellness visit states covers up to $250 after I submitted the claim for $211.00 and I get an explanation of benefits stating check was enclosed and I am only getting reimbursed $94 of $250 and check was not even in the envelope. Worst Insurance EVER. On top of my monthly insurance payment I'm stuck covering over $1500 in vet payment.

GBAutomatically increased our policy coverage and price - no refund Automatically changed our policy from illness to illness + injury, bumping price from $35 to $92/ mo. They apparently sent us an email 2 months prior, but no other notifications. Refused to refund the difference, how is this even legal? What if they had signed us up for a policy costing $2000 / mo?

GBScam Whatever you do... search around for pet insurance before you settle with PetFirst. I have been a customer for over 11 years and over the last 5 years they have increased my monthly premium $25-35. No additional benefits offered. If you want to reduce your premium they will transfer you to a salesperson whom job is to make sure they meet their bottom line so he will offered to increase your deductible to decrease premium. Also, this insurance company offer no REAL incentives. Only incentive offered to me was .. get this... if you DON’T file a claim within a calendar year you get a $25 decrease off your deductible. PLEASE do your homework before selecting a insurance company for your baby.

GBNot what I expected. They charge a deductible for each claim submitted instead of a one time yearly deductible like most insurances. Not everything is included. I found a pet insurance that covers well, sick, and prevention also microchipping. 97% reminbursement after deductible is met. Mine was met in 2 visits. I wouldn't recommend petfirst. I only had them because I adopted a dog from a rescue and she came with 30 day pet insurance.

GBPet First is absolutely terrible Pet First is absolutely terrible. I have had to talk to 5 different people because their communication within their office is poor. I explained it 5 times that I rescued my dog from a woman whose husband was abusive so there are no adoption paperwork. Stevie (my German Shepard) had to have surgery to get something removed to make sure that it wasn't cancer and they STILL have not helped pay this bill. I just got a "denied," email. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING INSURANCE!
