Great quality, great price, improving service Lance is delivering excellent products with expensive parts at the lowest price in its class on the market. For the quality they offer the pricing should actually be a lot higher, like at least 2x or 3x. To offer such affordable pricing, Lance needs to build quantity and drive down their costs to make a bit of revenue and the necessary margin to stay in business. Yes, in some cases that results in customer service / communication issues. If Lance achieves excellent service without sacrificing quality and without rising prices, they'd be management superstars. For now they do their absolute best, with a few bumps along the way sometimes. Their score of 4.3 on 5 (73% 4- or 5-star) here on Trustpilot is a good indication that overall they manage pretty well.

Lance glasses on indiegogo I backed Lance glasses on indiegogo. I ordered glasses with a sunclip. The products arrived months late, but as it was a funding project and with covid going on, it still seemed resonable. The final product is awesome, pretty comfortable, really thin lenses, the sunclip after a bit of practice is easy to apply. The shipping was well orgenized through an Easyship option of UPS, so I didn't have to wait for the government to expect my package, calculate and invoice the tax, as it was previously collected by UPS, so it only took 2 days until shipment from the border (Hungary).

Warby Parker upgrade Usually I shop pretty cheaply for glasses, but this time decided to splurge a little on Lance. I got the Havana frames, and had a perfect experience. The frames came quickly; are well-made; and get a ton of compliments. They're better-made than the several Warby Parker frames I've had, and more stylish. I'm surprised by all the bad reviews, and super happy with my experience — I'll order from Lance again!

Disappointing I backed Lance Signature in Kickstarter, Disappointing is putting it mildly but what I opted for backing it wasn’t what was delivered. It took a long time before I even got one pair (instead of 2), and didn’t have the options that I put extra money into. Even after communicating with Lance team considerably and providing all the info they asked from me. I’d have been better off getting a pair from my local optical clinic/store

The glasses are designed very well however... The glasses are designed very well. However, They last about a year to a year and a half. The customer experience is almost terrible. Like writing this preview in a french speaking page. Luckily I know some words. Everything takes long time, from the day of order till the glasses arrive can take a year. Until your last project all the lenses had to be blue filtered which is troubling. The prices are not clear during the campaign such as add-ons for prescriptive lenses. And eventually it can turn out to expansive.
